That Amendola catch on the Pats*' last FG drive was insane. The fans in my section (including me) were like THERE'S NO WAY and then they showed the replay and all we could do was admit greatness. Has anyone seen a video of the phantom Watkins cut/PI penalty? Completely missed it during the game.

Whoa... yeah I knew that Bylsma is our coach now, but this really threw me for a loop. Things are different! Can't wait for the first SabreSpace "Fire Dan Bylsma" thread

Hey d4rk, for what it's worth... I go to World Gym in Rochester (well, Greece) for $10/month and it's VERY worth it. That is a great price. Using it twice/week means ~$1/visit. Not sure what the prices would be for World Gym in Buffalo, but it looks like there are a few locations. I think the quality of gyms can vary from location to location, so be sure to check it out before going all in. My World Gym is full of meatheads, but it's not too busy to the point where I'm waiting for equipment. It may also be worth it to give it a visit during the same time/day you would typically go to work out, to get an appropriate idea of how busy it is. Dennis is right about the padlock.. just leave one in your gym bag, no big deal. I'll also recommend choosing a gym that is very close to home or work (on en route a la Dennis), if possible. This ensures that you don't use commute time as an excuse not to go ;) Lastly, once you actually pay money for a gym, it forces you to actually use it! Disclaimer: I only use the gym for upper body weightlifting once/week and lower body lifting once/week. My World Gym has a ridiculous amount of cardio machines that I assume have never been used all at once. Also... since I moved back from Texas earlier this year, I am terrified of not being able to exercise outdoors all winter. Rock climbing is another way to get exercise in, but can be a little expensive (Red Barn climbing gym at RIT is cheap though!) XC Skiing is a cheap option, I think, too. -- I completely forgot about this thread. I want to brag just a little bit.... Today I received my email of acceptance for the Boston Marathon 2016! I had been working toward qualifying for and running the race since Fall 2010, so it will have been a 5.5-year adventure by the time the race comes around in April. I qualified with a sub-3-hour time in May. w00t!!!

I heard that Kyle Williams said something like this game put the whole team in a perfect learning situation (young guys AND vets). Hopefully, leadership and coaches harness it, and make something of it moving forward. It's a long season and in the end, it's only ONE LOSS. The fans at the game were pretty loud on the first NE* drive or two, but Brady* silenced us pretty effectively (well, I was still roarin' the whole game...) There were plenty of empty seats by the time the Bills starting coming back in the 4th quarter.

Rodent.... The Brad Marchand of the Animal Kingdom

I went canoe-camping at La Mauricie National Park in Quebec a couple weeks ago. Saw many loons with their fierce red eyes on the beautiful lakes. Their glorious wails can be very loud.. they can be mistaken for a coyote's!

Oy... I always picture Marchand as Roger Klotz from "Doug" Or more specifically... Hehehe......

I have a Corolla, and I'm in total agreement/acceptance of it being the Matt Ellis of automobiles  I'm thinking: Savage Garden.... the Matt Ellis of musical artists. "Works but ain't very sexy.... Exceptionally ordinary." (Someone mentioned Nickelback earlier, but just doesn't satisfy the "works" requirement for me...)

Sal Capaccio said on WGR this morning that the Colts game this past Sunday was definitely the loudest he'd heard (from the field; not sure how long he's been at field level for games?) Specifically, on 3rd/4th downs on the Colts' first touchdown drive. I suppose I can take his word for it on this one :) I think the Guinness World Record thing for this week is kind of silly, and a little random, but should be fun nonetheless. I'll be sitting with a rowdier crew this week, so that's good. But, I can't help but think that this effort would be more successful if it was during a home playoff game.

I didn't want to muck up the Bills thread after the Lancelot charging video there (hehehe), but wanted to point out that Spamalot is playing at Geva Theatre here in Rochester through Oct. 11. I'm going this Saturday evening.

The stadium was louder at last year's opener versus the Dolphins than it was this past Sunday versus the Colts, in my opinion.

That's a crazy scenario. Is there not precedent for this? There has to be some option for Nelson here, right? Otherwise, it seems that teams could low-ball players in this situation all the time. Is there something very unique about Nelson that I'm not seeing?

Fan excitement not reflected in secondary market

Interesting. Hardly a "jog", though, I'd say. Equivalent to a 5:20 mile pace. As a marathon runner, I run 400m repeats in the 72- to 76-second range, which would equate to barely-ish making the 60-second cutoff at the 300m mark. How much do pro hockey players actually do mid- to long-distance running as conditioning for hockey?

I haven't visited this thread in years, but I wanted to comment on the Dire Straits shenanigans y'all're jabbin' on about over in the PKane thread. Tunnel of Love: best outro ever? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GrDK0UoAkfY

Haha, yeah, Kevin Sylvester was joking, Couldn't they have waited until after 12pm to break the Dareus news? :D

Marshawn (or, at least his agent?) knows that his anti-media shtick SELLS. This gets him sponsorship deals. And, moneys.

Um.. so did anything ever come from this? Rumors just stop a few days ago? My thought was that a two-year deal for Franson in Buffalo couldn't really hurt; he's got some upside.

I'd overheard that she outplayed her opponent in the second round, had twice as many break points, but just didn't capitalize at the right times. Kudos to her though!

Hmm. Thanks for the feedback, y'all. I went the route of bcSaberks, snagged four in 304 for the opener (edit: yes, the possible-glitchy mini-pack method). We'll see what happens... Will post an update if anything goes wonky. If I am somehow forced to buy four more games, at least I actually live back in WNY this season :)

This says they don't go on sale until Saturday, September 19: http://sabres.nhl.com/club/page.htm?id=82007 Where are you seeing these? Stubhub? Is there a special season-ticket holder window of opportunity to purchase additional individual game tickets? I need four tickets for the opener :) Thanks for the heads up by the way! Preseason tickets are available, also opening versus Ottawa... maybe OP is confused. Hmm. At any rate, any advice from anyone regarding the easiest/cheapest way to get tickets for the home opener? It is a platinum game.

I'm in no position to argue for/against, but this thread from TBD provides argument against this statement. I'll say that it may be tough to judge based on the preseason game plan. EDIT: Forgot link http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/179939-taylor-not-a-one-read-and-run-qb-play-by-play-look/ From what I have seem, I don't see Tyrod as haphazard or careless in this regard as, say, RGIII, or EJ when he got hurt versus the Browns in 2013. I could bw wrong. I missed the game Friday, just catching up. Does anyone have anything to offer regarding the starting O-line play? It seems Miller played well. Was Incognito in? Glenn look healthy/solid? Who was at RT - Kouandijo or Seantrel or both? Lastly, I think it is worth a mention that with limited amount of time I have been coming to SabreSpace to keep on top of Bills news, and TBD for updates on the PKane saga, rather than try to play catchup by wading through the madness the other way around.

Say what now? By the way, the best beereal combo is Cocoa Krispies with Yuengling.
