If TOR or BOS would have send a 3rd for Vesey rights we'd all be pissed. His agent just said Buffalo has been on his short list all along = good. Also said after what they went through with NAS, why wouldn't they wait til 8/15 = bad or postering

Simple Math: 15% of 3rd rounders play 50+ games in the NHL; 99% chance Vesey plays 50+ games in the NHL; thus if, because of this trade, there's a 16% or better chance he signs with the Sabres, it's a risk worth taking. I think it clearly is

3rd round picks have about a 25% chance of ever playing in the NHL. Vesey has a 99% chance. It's a good gamble and we really don't know if there have been talks behind the scenes.

He has a strong all around game. I think he puts up similar number to Reinhart and completes that line. Before you laugh at that, remember he's 3 years older than Jack and Reinhart. Jack and Reinhart also just found another roommate

This is what I've been talking up for weeks - he ws my #1 target in the offseason. In line with exactly what we're trying to do in building a young team. A third is a decent pick, so I would imagine Captain Jack has had ...cough....cough...discussions with him. I would hope so anyway
