How can anyone say he's undervaluing assets when the player and agent agree to the terms ?

He's 26 and never played a game in the NHL? does he have any chance of being Sabre? haven't heard too much about him, but Sabrenoise thinks he was rock solid in the Americans playoff run

Its why I would not trade him straight up for Hellebuck or really anyone. Great Vision, Great Focus, Great Agility, Solid positioning, great glove work Sucks we lost this game but we lost to a SC team.... If only we could of scored some more

Some times you find lightning in a bottle. They roled the dice, and decided to think outside the box when they brought in Ralph. It was a desperate plan to shake things up and it back fired... But you can also give Pegula's a some kudos for not letting it fester for 2 full season or more. They cut bait relatively quickly Also Ralph gave way to Granato who showed more that enough to become the permanent HC. Which I'm happy with that at this junction. The Adams/Granato hire took a bold move by the Pegula's because if it didn't work ....... As for Owners not meddling? If I'm paying for a professional sports team I'm going to have input, especially if the guy making decisions at the GM level is not doing as well a I/we like. Now that Adams is showing his plan ia actually working I expect Pegula's to be more comfortable and not having to meddle

1st how did you feel about the Adams / Granato when that was announced.... All you could do is sit back and hope its wasn't more of the same. Ralph may have been hired as a manager in Europe for soccer clubs, but the fact is Ralph did have pedigree in the NHL and International hockey and many did feel he was given a raw deal in the NHL. It was a shot in the dark but don't forget to throw the GM under the bus for this hire as well, it wasn't all Pegula's. In fact Pegulas went through a similiar thing witht he Bills until they found the right GM/HC combo

Levi is not like other goalies... If you watch his game he tracks the puck better then most Gs I've seen, His ability to move from side to side is also impressive. I've seen lighting quick cross ice passes and Levi tracks the puck well here gets to the other side of the net and is set up before the shooter shoots. You can't teach that, that's an ability that Levi does at a very high level. I would not trade Levi 1 for 1 for anyone outside McDavid, and even thats not what the team needs. Basically watch all the tape on Levi you can.... You can see what he brings and you saw it under intense pressure at the mend of last season for the Sabres... 5 wins 2 losses and one of those losses our D really hung him out to dry

I don't think anybody is counting on that. We'll bring in someone and IMO UPL is the odd man out in all scenarios accept rolling with Levi / UPL as the teams tandem.... which I do not care to have. that's the dream....

I'm not into rentals, and if we can acquire Hellebuyck then offer lesser options and keep Levi. But we have to extend Hellebuyck or no deal Give them UPL and some other teir 2 trinkets but trading Levi is not an option because there is a damn good chance Levi is going to have a long rock solid career that fits in nicely with the teams trajectory and age. Levi is untouchable along side others on this team

Just weed, which is not just good its Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious. Weed does not make you lazy...... that's just an untrue stereotype... There are a tremendous amount of people in all walks of life who enjoy it, hold jobs, pay taxes, and retire with money in the bank etc... I've probably known more Alcoholics with less ambitiion that are struggling with their health then anyone using weed. Now back to our regular scheduled program.... How about those AMERKS!!!! My issue is Cromrie and UPL.... I would realy rather replace that duo with a Hellebuyck..... but thats a trade that would cost us a bunch of pieces and not sure KA is thinking this way. But I would be way more excited if we got rid of the non dynamic duo and traded for Hellebuyck and then extend Hellebuyck for a 4- 6 years while Levi earns his 3rd contract... Assuming his 2nd deal will be a a tweener deal
