  1. My expectations is to better than expected. Playoffs and some advancement. I really like our team think they will gel quickly and respond to Buffalo's hockey fans and Pegulas investments in hockey
  2. Warhawk on the PS3 is my favorite game of all time.. but these days I gave up console gaming and pretty much play clash of clans and boom beach.
  3. the IT crowd is a great show. Binged watch all the seasons
  4. damn hockey seaosn can not get here fast enough. 41 pages on this topic. All I do is show up and hope for some hockey news but this thread is always there to greet me. Come on training camp
  5. there will be no scapegoat, we are turning the corner and we will be a better team
  6. He needs to be a decent starter for it to be worth 21.
  7. not new but not mainstream music that I recommend, Railroad Earth, Galactic, Government Mule, moe., phish, Gogol Bordello, Mop Mop, Pogues, Quantic Soul Orchestra, Ween, Primus As for older music you may have forgot. Temptations, James Brown, Aretha Franklin, J.J. Cale, Talking Heads, just off the top of my head. There is mucho music out there, the problem is the music you like and I like is not pop, so it gets very little radio attention, but there is lots of music out there
  8. Schwan Rugbutt
  9. huge fan myself, glad its back you don't need one to read the page
  10. You want quality assets you need to give quality assets. Buffalo does not have the patience to wait 5 more years for all that young talent to possibly develop. If the Sabres were to take that route the majority of fans would of revolted. At this point we are dwindling on assets, but if the goal is to start winning now then there is little reason to wait.
  11. ROTFLMAO nothing could be further from the truth. Tickets for these shows were still cheaper than the majority of big name acts playing these sized venues. Hell even the stones were charging more for their tickets, and everyone who went to the stones says it was a great time and worth the price. The last 4 members have been playing shows ever since Jerry passed, what could possibly be wrong with them recapturing that on their 50 year anniversary??? Man that is hilarious, those 3 shows were FANTASTIC. still have goosebumps from them. I saw more than 80 shows pre-95, and the 3 in Chicago last weekend are up there with my favorite Dead shows ever. The whole weekend surpassed my expectations and I would gladly see that band play again but you've made up your mind so the debate would be useless. and I can tell you the more than 70K who were attending that show and most all that streamed those shows will tell you it was worth every single penny let me guess you are one of those Trey haters that just needs to whine about something. If you are even a fan I strongly suggest you watch the shows the music was fantastic, and that is the only thing it was about.
  12. We're not moving on. there is nobody out there worth pursuing accept Oduya at this point. If it is not Oduya then we wait for training camp and see who becomes available at the last minute
  13. hopefully there will be some vids to share afterwards enjoy that gin and tonic.
  14. Just got back from Chicago for the last 3 Grateful Dead Concerts. Pretty amazing weekend. So many friends made the trip, and we broke the attendance record for Soldier field 3x's. Musically is was fantastic, Chicago was very laid back in regards to fans. Parking lots were a huge party and the streets of Chicago near the arena were going strong till daylight every night after the shows. Trey filled is quite admirably at guitar.. I left wanting more... "They're a band beyond description, like Jehovah's favorite choir, people joining hand hand, while the music plays the band, they're setting us on fire" There is lots of good music to be found out there If you like bluegrass instrumentation with an edge youtube railroad earth
  15. Bold move by the NHL I love it. Vegas will produce positive revenue for the NHL IMO
  16. How about Erection Day. because after these latest moves I swear it moved
  17. no thanks. Don't see the value here as our team is built to grow together. We already have O'Reilly and Kane don't see the need to toss away Reinhart who should have a better career then both of those players early in his career and should blow them both away when he hits their ages
  18. that is the most well written recant I have ever read on a sports forum
  19. no way anyone could be upset.. We look like a team ready to be a force IMO
  20. Right on.. I'm just an optimist and I like what the Sabres have on paper with Kane and Bogosian and now Lehner added. Add a 2 way player like RoR to this mix and what is not to like. Thats a team ready to make a significant step up IMO
  21. I think we will be a surprise team and we will squeak in the playoffs. And I do think next years 1st is completely on the table for the right player. If RoR can be had then next years 1st is most definitely in play IMO, better next years 1st then another prime piece that is already in our system and ready to contribute this year
  22. No way we pick top 5 next year IMO. and even if we did what are we going to do with that pick.. We would be better off with RoR as the team will be hitting its stride and established players would be more useful
  23. Oh the comedy coming from the lone Reiger supporter
