I think it would be justified for us to win the draft lottery this year. 2x's we came in last place but ended up drafting 2nd So this year we improve but win that lottery !!! As for tanking this season.. No.. this team is playing a much better brand of hockey. They're young and getting better. I'm content with the direction the team is turning.

It would be quite entertaining in the future if the Sabres lose the draft lottery end up With EIchle and lose out on Babcock and settle for Blysma only to see the EIchel having a better career than McDavid and Blysma more success behind the Sabres bench then Babcock in Toronto Basically we lose twice but both losses turn out to be difference making positives

too early for charts yes, but not to early to think we have a damn good shot at making the playoffs and then some. This team has been better on paper then standings show..

the team is winning on paper with faceoffs shots on net and Hits.. We just need to translate that to W-L record, but this team is radically different from last year. Losing sucks but you look at the sheets and we are winning much of the crucial parts of the game. Team just needs to grow and gel some.. Looking forward to a smoikng 2nd half run this season

We're producing pressure. We're winning faceoffs we're generating hits. Only a matter of time before this team starts to cash in on the effort. I'm expecting this team to heat up heading into the 2nd half of the season

The way the Sabres are playing in preseason is definitely moving over into the season. This team is better than an 8th place playoff spot IMO We will be making lots of noise this season
