I definitely played Tetris on my TI-83 calculator... might have something to do with why I got a D in Calculus. :P Absolutely -- I loved King's Quest, but I got to a point partway through game where I couldn't come up with a way to get past an obstacle and got frustrated with it.

Yeah, I've had that same experience... the a$$hole cop acts like they're doing you a favor by writing it up as a fine, when I think they'd prefer it that way because the fines are so outrageous in relation to the supposed offense. My last ticket was $160 for "failure to obey traffic signals" (speeding).

My boss left early since his wife is sick and my only other co-worker is out until Jan. 2nd, so it's extremely tempting to just cut out early myself and try to get some sleep, but I have so much work to do that I really shouldn't. Except I'm so tired that I'm not exactly being productive (hence the SS posts), so...

GD I'm tired. Been staying up way too late all week to get those freaking cookies done and shipped out to people. And I woke up with my left eye hurting and blurry for no good reason... guess I must've slept with it mashed into the pillow or something. All I want to do is sleep for a good 20 hours or so.

Nice. I think one of my favorite examples of this was the first X-men movie. After the rest of the team recruits a reluctant Logan / Wolverine to join them in trying to stop Magneto and save Rogue, you see them all on the jet preparing to leave. Logan tugs uncomfortably at the collar of his suit, and says, "You guys actually go out in public in these things?" and Scott replies: "Well what would you prefer? Yellow spandex?" I was cracking up in the theater.

Too. Many. Cookies. Between Sunday and last evening, I've made about 300 of them between these 5 recipes to give away as gifts: - oatmeal butterscotch - chocolate chip cowboy cookies (choc chips, oats, and pretzels) - gingerbread trees - lace cookies dipped in chocolate - peppermint meringues Naturally, I had to sample them all for quality control. On top of that, a friend sent sugar cookies with eggnog buttercream icing and salted caramel snickerdoodles. I can't stop eating them, but my poor tummy is wishing I'd eat more real food and less junk!

Never seen it... I'll have to see if it's on Hulu. I almost never watch shows when they're actually on anymore between work and hockey overlap. I do love that genre, though. Haven't decided if I'm going to watch Agent Carter... it's not a must-see, but I am curious about what they'll add in the way of backstory to some of the other Marvel characters.
