Geez, that's some rough stuff. Eaves certainly didn't seem to be all there on the ice.

Good luck, Liger! Remember the sage advice from threads of the past... ;) http://forums.sabrespace.com/topic/20057-fn-fantastic-fridays/page-33?do=findComment&comment=476493

lol that's outstanding, Liger.

No skating, but it's certainly pretty and you can go skiing / snowshoeing not too far from there. :) And weave -- good luck next Thurs.!

Well, her hating games (and sports!) isn't a deal-breaker as long as she isn't the type to harrass you about spending time on them. ;)

ZOMG, how could I forget Oregon Trail, Marble Madness, and Duck Hunt?? Great stuff. Only of myself, haha... Pong is seriously one of my favorites of all time. So simple, yet so entertaining. I guess I should add Breakout (Atari) as well... old school, lol.

That's just nuts... why on earth can't they do that on a weekend (or after hours)??

Wow... amidst all the trade excitement from yesterday, we seem to have forgotten it's Thursday! ;) Lame complaint: our research building has a small Au Bon Pain cafe in the lobby. I don't go there on a regular basis, but often enough that I have one of their plastic refillable coffee mugs (refills are cheaper that way). The refills are $1.26, and yesterday I walked down with my mug and exact change so I didn't have to bother carrying my wallet. I fixed my coffee and went to pay, and the cashier told me it was $1.37 because prices had just been increased. I already had my cash out and was thrown off, and the cashier took the mug from my hand, set it on the other side of the register, and told me I could come back and get it. Seriously? You couldn't find 11 pennies in the little tray and just let me know for next time? So annoying.

lol Atari was the best. I played a bunch when I was a kid, but either lost interest or stopped having free time as I got older. I loved the original Super Mario Bros (NES) and really liked StarFox (NES / SNES), but I've always been more partial to games that didn't have a storyline because they never got old. So for that reason, my favorites are (in order by chronology and not preference): 1) Pong 2) Mortal Kombat 3) Mario Kart (all versions) 4) Gran Turismo 5) Wii Bowling and Tennis 6) Shaun White Snowboarding (Wii)

Indeed.

Wth... no Pong fans? :p

I'd love to be a fly on the wall when Enroth found out he was going to be backup goalie with Lindy again...

Note to Darcy: the market has been set.

Good call. Being the starter on the Sabres probably sounded a lot better to him last year than the reality that presented itself.

Holy crap!

Thanks for this, IKP... between my being absurdly overtired and less knowledgeable about the other Jets players acquired, the news earlier today had me seriously pissed off and thinking Murray overpaid. I still share your concern about the move potentially being "aggressively stupid" and a lot hinges on Kane deciding to act like a professional, but (for now) I'm stepping back off the ledge. And thanks to you as well, XB.
