My dad and stepmom finally had their Medicaid appeal hearing on Tuesday... and they won!!! Thank God... they don't want to stay on it forever, but until she finds a job and he's able to go back to work, it is very much necessary.

Long weekend in Crested Butte. Really nice to get a break from working on the house and spend some time outdoors again.

Dealing with contractors. Too much to type on mobile, but JC, why do they all show a complete disregard for everyone else's time??? And lame bonus complaint: the yogurt parfait I grabbed at the store as a quick lunch before leaving town is completely ruined by the fact that the blueberries are sour.

Friday thread not open so I'll put this here: I'm officially a homeowner again. :) I railed against it a while back when d4rk was asking for advice, but there's redeeming qualities and out here it actually IS cheaper to buy than rent. Lots of projects to do!

Very nice! I haven't gotten anything close to accurate in the way of "steps" or miles on the bike, but... ... maybe this is why? I've never tried putting the Fitbit on my leg. Will have to test that theory this weekend!
