Despite the fact that this is easily the poorest excuse for winter I can recall, I've managed to get out snowboarding 5 or 6 times this season. This past Wed. I finally got back out after bashing my knees on some ice over two weeks prior, and was able to tackle 3 new (and more difficult) slopes. Hoping for another 2+ weeks of winter to keep this going, but should at least be able to get out again this weekend. :)

Great idea; you already have korab as a subscriber, and with the proceeds you could probably pay for your honeymoon!

Well let's face it; even the ladies don't want to look at pictures of junk. It's just not a photogenic part of the human anatomy.

My tubby and smelly co-worker is generally oblivious to just about everything, including the fact that he requires more space when moving about the lab than the rest of us. We always have these awkward moments where we're playing chicken because I need to get through somewhere (preferably without contact) and he fails to recognize that he fills the entire space through which I need to pass. On Tuesday he almost took me out when he made a sudden move to put something back on a shelf above / adjacent to my desk while I was standing there. Fortunately I saw him coming and took a huge step back in the nick of time, because I had a brief and horrible vision of the basketball scene in Along Came Polly.

It's February, dammit. Why does it have to be 35 degrees and raining and not 30 degrees with snow? :(
-
Not sure I'd go that far, lol. I didn't see them at the store, but on the bag it indicates they have a bunch of different flavors so I'll have to look for those. Thinking kind of like the flavored Snyders pretzel bites... mmmm. lol - thankfully, not at all. Man, now I want pulled pork! I really need to fix my slow cooker. :(
-
Strange video, but this song has turned into an earworm for me:

Pretzel shells. Odd concept and I really only bought them because they were on sale, but pretty good. The whole bag is the crunchy/salty outsides without the plain and dry inside.

Finally picked up a bottle of Buffalo Trace bourbon earlier today. I'd had it before in an apple smash, but tonight was the first I've gotten to try it neat. Not too much burn for a newbie, good flavor without being too sweet, and a nice finish that lingers. Me likey.

LOL and yes, it was. And for dinner I get the last of my flatbread pizza from Friday night, and maybe some Buffalo Trace. :)

Wow, that does sound good. Did you cook, or eat out? For me, late brunch today included: - blood orange mimosas - Sambazon acai juice - egg omelet with fancy truffle cheese and a little bit of truffle oil - buckwheat pancake - 1/2 pear, 1/2 banana - Liberte wild blackberry yogurt That was worth waiting for until this afternoon.

Leftover roasted chicken and arugula flatbread pizza (herb chicken, roasted peppers, arugula, and lemon oil) from Macaroni Grill. Yeah, it's a chain restaurant, but some of their food is really good. And since their pizzas are enormous (easily 3 servings), I get to enjoy it tomorrow as well!

Well they can't be any worse than her roommate...

Department party at 4pm today means work stops at 3:30. :) Only downside is I'm going to miss the game since I have plans tonight. Here's hoping the Sabres continue their winning ways.

I'd probably put that number closer to 6, and  It's all in good fun... most people here know which side of the line is still funny and which side is offensive. Very nice -- I'd totally forgotten about Jeri Ryan!

Very Dude of you. And your drink reminded me: Thai coffee candy goes surprisingly well with Dewars. Who'da thunk it?
-
LOL that's being awfully generous, but it's nice of you to say.

Dewars to the rescue!

 South Park: Ginger Pride Conference

I don't know what possessed me to try this, but Old Bay on eggs is kinda gross.
-
It's entirely possible that it goes under the radar, being a niche/OT thread and a non-game night. And that's fine by me. Back on-topic: here's a new image for ya, Chris: Marisa Miller, mmm

Ha - that's my grandfather, but on my mom's side of the family. My brother is left-handed, but not ginger.
-
Yeah, that's the other reason I didn't sweat it... it was my profile pic on the old board, so some people already saw it. Who said anything about being left-handed?
-
Never heard of her... how long ago was that?
-
Sure do. (Well, I hope so, anyhow...) And if all else fails, there's always the option to delete a post.
