Shoukd make for an interesting camp next year. Lieuwen probably ends up in Roch anyhow, but it'd be a nice surprise to have the same kind of 3-headed goalie monster problem like in '05 with Miller/Biron/Noronen.

On Sunday morning when I changed my (touchscreen) thermostat for daylight savings it became convinced the indoor temperature was a constant 28 degrees. Accordingly, the heat pump was running nonstop in an attempt to reach the programmed setting of 67 degrees. This would normally be a Complaint Thursday topic, but I was lucky that the outdoor temps here were mild enough Sunday-Wed that I could turn the heat off overnight and during the day without worrying about frozen pipes, and I found the exact same model online and received it Wed. afternoon for installation before the temps took another nosedive. I'm calling that an overall win.

I'll ask the obvious question: why and how have you consumed urinal cakes?

Cool stuff; never heard of those. I drink soda pretty infrequently anymore, but I'd give those a try if I see them!

I was just making the same soda complaint the other day, and I agree they should produce a 1/2 sweet version without aspartame or sucralose to compensate. I don't care what the ads say; Diet Dr. Pepper DOES NOT taste like regular Dr. Pepper! And I get so angry when I find artificial sweeteners in food and drinks that aren't "diet" items (yogurt, coffee drinks, etc).

This stupid freaking head cold will not go away! It's been more than two weeks now. First it got steadily worse, then I thought I was getting better but was stuck around 70% for most of a week before it came back for round 2. Now I'm again in the week long 80-90% better phase. I've never had one like this. So done with Kleenex.
