    Sabres just 3 points out of second place in the division, 3 points out of a wild card at the 1/5th mark of the season. Am I jumping the gun?

    At the FNC. The is a definite lack of chemistry still, especially in the defensive end. Otherwise a great day to be in the old burg. The grain elevator light show at Canalside is something else.

    If you look carefully Ullmark pulls his leg back in on the last two goals. It's like he can't extend his leg fully so it goes out and bounces back in. In both cases, the puck went in because of that. The third goal definitely. If his pad stayed put he would have stopped it.

    20 works much better, I think. Especially in mobile browsers, on which I browse both sites 90% of the time. One feature on mobile browsing is the phone goes right to where I left off in threads. On my desktop I have to search to find that point. Maybe there's a setting for that in desktops?

    As many have pointed out E.Kane has had no "issues" as a Sabre yet you seem to expect him not to respond to authority. Why? His tweets? His perceived demeanor as a d-bag? It's a curious reaction, that's all. As for the race card, race has been proven over and over to color (sorry) people's opinions of individuals. Kind of like when black people are pulled over by police, the assumption is they had to have done something.

    I'm surprised how upbeat everyone is on Ullmark. He played well for two periods then suddenly started putting himself out of position badly in the third.

    Can someone explain what "off-ice antics" Kane is doing? You mean like going to ball games? Using Twitter? Being young, rich and good looking? Being black?

    Just got back in from a Halloween party but I kept an eye on the game with my phone. I'm sure it was mentioned here but, wow, did Ullmark look like he was flailing at the end! What was going on? He looked worse than I do. He's lucky he only gave up one. (And yes, that was a stinker.)

    What you call soft goals I call defensive lapses. Being a goalie myself, I tend to be more sympathetic. Johnson's largest issue, IMO, is rebound control. But the Sabres D doesn't help much.

    This is not an investment. I just don't want to lose money. But you're right. It's my risk. But I think this is a "canary in a coal mine" thing, indicating that fan interest in the Sabres isn't where we think it is.

    There is some truth that Buffalo is a Bills town until January. But c'mon, we have Eichel now. Where is the enthusiasm for him? Where's the buy-in like the Bills got with Rex and company? So if understand your position correctly speculators are evil because they sell to opposing fans, preventing loyal fans from attending, but loyal fans can't be expected to care enough in October coming off the tank? Mmm-kay. :blink:
