  1. They have 20 forwards in the pipeline, 16 defenders, 5 goalies. https://www.eliteprospects.com/team/53/buffalo-sabres/in-the-system
  2. https://www.nhl.com/sabres/news/buffalo-sabres-2025-development-camp-roster
  3. I wasn't sure what aspect you were comparing. The team or the city.
  4. You're right about this season. But anyone you sign now, unless it's a one year deal, is going to have an impact going forward.
  5. That's true but he's also negotiating with Tuch for an extension. He has much more flexibility this way.
  6. Nonsense, unless Byram was lost. Then your on Adams for not planning.
  7. Maybe you missed when Adams said the Sabres needed to get into a position to not be caught by an offer sheet. So yes, they were shedding salary, but it was for a good reason. I'm sure you would have lost your s**t if they traded for Rossi but lost Byram to an offer sheet (and not a very big one.) As for Kesselring, he was also a big need for the team, so there's that. Why does everything have to happen immediately? Does the season start next week?
  8. But you aren't on the phone now. So you don't know what's being offered. He may be getting offered 3rd line players. Do you want more of those? I doubt it.
  9. That's an assumption, and a fairly large one. You don't know what players are being offered. (Other than Marco Rossi and Adams saw more value in a Kesselring.)
  10. He plays in St Louis. Ever been there? It's Buffalo's big brother.
  11. You're being pretty naïve, thinking that you can just dangle $25K over whatever to Bernard-Docker's agent to get him to come back after you let him go to free agency. It doesn't work like that.
  12. Lol. You think $25,000 is enough of a carrot? What are taxes in Michigan? 4.75%? They are 9.65% for that income level in New York. So $875K is more money in Detroit than $900K is in Buffalo.
  13. But he has to accept that offer! His agent knew he was due for arbitration. It would have been agent malpractice to sign for that before QO's
  14. Here's my dark horse, it's Zach Metsa.
  15. The Sabres actually thought this out and did the correct thing. Gee.
  16. If they can prevent the same number of goals JJ scored, it's a wash.
  17. McLeod signed fairly quickly. Is there any reason to be concerned that Levi hasn't signed yet? Or are they working on something longer term for him?
  18. Would you do it if Andersson won't resign here, making him a one season rental? And what would you offer? Byram one-for-one? Andersson + ? Once he leaves it'll come to you.
  19. I like Zach Metsa's game. I hope he gets a look at camp.
  20. Yay I kid. He's good for what he is. We need more.
  21. So when does the Alex Lyon signing become official, or are we going to find out he really signed with the Bruins?
  22. If you had Mason Geertsen and Mikey Eyssimont, you win!
  23. "Mason Geertsen is a Canadian professional ice hockey player for the Henderson Silver Knights of the American Hockey League while under contract to the Vegas Golden Knights of the National Hockey League. He was selected in the fourth round, 93rd overall, by the Colorado Avalanche in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft." Played a year in NJ too. https://www.nhl.com/sabres/player/mason-geertsen-8477419
