  1. Have we looked good at all this preseason? Will a switch flip on Thursday?
  2. Well that's a bummer I couldn't get it to work sooner. I still got decent upper deck seats in a low row. This is going to be a better live viewing event than the Sabres @ Citi Field.
  3. Good news, they have partial obstructed seats for just $15. Bad news, website either crashed or game is sold out.
  4. Does anyone have any idea how much they are charging? There's not a hint on the Sabres website or Tickets.com.
  5. NHL.tv says otherwise. Wonder why when Root is doing the game, NHLtv won't carry it?
  6. Eight preseason games in the NHL tonight. Three won't be televised, including ours. That might be true. The attendance part. Not the concessions so much.
  7. Because Bob DiCesare at the Buffalo News led the butt hurt parade against it. What a slap in the face to Buffalo to be the state's flagship university! How do we stand the embarrassment?? There must be thousands of people wishing Penn State was called the University of State College! Yup. How dare Buffalo represent all of New York State?
  8. This reminds me Mr. Burns telling Don Mattingly to cut his sideburns.
  9. I guess that game was a huge disappointment to those rooting for an embarrassing loss, huh?
  10. So for $89/mo you can grab unsold seats to Sabres games (excluding certain games.) Though some months have more games than others. October, December and January have 5 games, but February and March have 9. Is it a good deal? Let's say you sign up for 6 months (skipping April, just one game anyway.) That's $534. Say you get to go to 20 games. That's $26.70 per game. You could do better by buying a 20-game mini pack for $500. ($25 for seats in Sec 300V) Is this something you would consider? Is deciding to go to a game last minute work for you? Is $89/month too much if you don't get to enough games?
  11. Happy for some Sabres hockey. Not real happy with video quality.
  12. A block of 4 in middle row 313. Anyone look at StubHub prices? 50-60-70% off box office prices. The public is not excited.
  13. As much as Eichel says he has to prove himself, Botterill and Housley have to prove to Eichel they know what they are doing, too. Jack is not going to stick around for GMTM/DiscoDan the Sequel.
  14. No. He already thinks he's McDavid's peer. He has said things in the past that indicated that his belief in himself, and his goal, was to match and exceed McDavid. And I'm not against that. A healthy ego is necessary to be a top performer. But I never got the sense that he's happy here. Why should he be? The team has been stepping on its own schlong since he's been here.
  15. I felt all along he wants McDavid money and really isn't that crazy about playing in Buffalo based on his experience till now. Maybe a GMJBot and Coach Wowie will change his mind, make him feel like the team is finally doing something other than spinning its wheels. He knows a bad Buffalo franchise has a tougher road to redemption because Buffalo. But for now Eichel is willing to let the process move along. LOLZ. Like that matters. I'm sure he dreads making Sabres fans unhappy. What are they going to do? Boo him when he comes back to play here with his new team?
  16. Give Eichel the Watkins treatment. We're building a team, not collecting talent. /s
  17. Cost of doing that $1000 vs $1245 buying regular season tickets. Since my seats are fully paid for, I doubt they would allow me to downgrade now. Next year maybe. So Taro, I assume you will be rushing out to grab these bargain seats?
  18. All those seats were offered to season ticket holders at Level 300 IV prices. ($30 ea.) If they want to cut the price, then offer STH'ers a chance to downgrade to V. If what you say is true, then some of those Level V seats are closer to the ice than Level IV seats, or are located in Level 300 II.
