Oh I agree that KA is right not to back down. I just can't get over people, some who accuse Adams of being incompetent, just going to pieces over the lack of Eichel action. It's true that nature abhors a vacuum.

I don't think KA thinks this is a winning combo of goaltenders. But for whatever reason he couldn't get anyone better. Maybe he didn't want to trade the assets for a keeper in a potentially wasted year. Maybe no FA goalies would come here. Maybe he's hoping someone shakes loose before the season starts, or that UPL proves ready.

I highly recommend Meadowlands Creamery. I did notice most every ice cream joint carries Coffee Oreo, Jack's fave flavor. Maybe that's why he wants a trade. Can't find Coffee Oreo in WNY.

Craig Rivet was quick to point out that you want to avoid surgery as much as possible because surgery never makes you 100% Anything you get done makes you less than you were. He spoke of his shoulder surgeries that allowed him to play but he was never the same. He suggests if Jack can deal with the pain now and play, he'd be better off postponing surgery until retirement.
