How many times a game is a goalie supposed to bail out his team? 5 times? 10? 20? When does the defense get some culpability?

Goaltenders don't "catch" the puck with their pads. That's not even a thing. Especially when you are reacting at point blank range. As hard as it might be to believe, defense plays a big role in how good your goalie plays, either by disrupting the play, limiting the window for the shooter, not leaving shooters alone opposite the play, and clearing out rebounds. What exactly is the role of the Sabres defense other than irony?

I'd love to know how that was supposed to happen considering the angle of the shot and save.

If offering an opinion is trolling then what are you all doing? I definitely think Kane being black is a huge reason his transgressions linger while, as Sabel79 points out, the white Kane's foibles are quickly forgotten. Could also be a reason why others see him as smug. Please point to an occasion when EKane was smug. I seemed to miss that.
