Sorry if I came off harsh. But I don't get the handwringing over the Heritage Classic. If you want to go you can go. They'll let you in, unlike Canadians into the US for some stupid reason. This season will be an exercise to find something to feel excited over for the future. The best realistic outcome would be for them to be entertaining and finish 14th-11th in the conference.

I just bought tickets for their game at Springfield on New Year's Day, Sitting right behind the goal where the Amerks shoot twice. Just a two hour drive for me. Will also go to Providence in February. Tickets not on sale yet. Can you even get tickets to Comet home games?

Frankly they have NO events. They have games. Show up if you want. Sit where you want. Maybe you'll be entertained. I think the Bills are taking the edge off this year.

It's not the season's largest event. At best it's the regular season's third biggest event (behind the Winter Classic and All Star Game.) It's also a Canada-focused event. So why did we give up a home game? Maybe it's because we have Canadian Sabres fans who can't come to Buffalo. Don't forget as an American you CAN cross the border and go if you follow protocol and see the game yourself in person if it's that important to you.

Went out with the wife half way through this game, just caught up with the rest of it. Nice to win but only one scorer's goal potted by the Sabres (JJ) tonight. But great energy. Execution still lacking. Anderson was solid. I'm worried Cozens is regressing some.

I definitely get the sense people want KA and everyone associated with the Sabres to fail so they can validate their feelings about the team. Of course if things get bad enough the franchise's survival in Buffalo becomes a question. 👍 We all want the Pegulas to sell but who's going to ride in on their horse and buy this team, unless it's to move it? This team needs to start getting better now just so the NHL remains viable here.
