Ham gravy always seems weird to me. For the first time my family is probably going to be doing Thanksgiving with my wife's family. TG is a super big deal for them, so a while ago we kind of made it TG with her side, Easter with mine, and Christmas is just insanity (but fun insanity). However, this year my family's usual TG plans fell through, so I think we're going to all be together for it for the first time in quite a while! Looking forward to it.

I think the idea of Kane is exactly who the Sabres need; strong, fast, scoring winger, little more edge than most of the guys on the top two lines. Unfortunetely what he IS is a strong, fast, winger who can barely get a puck ON net much less score when he has a chance. I like the talents he has, but if you can't score you don't belong on my top 2 lines. And if Kane doesn't belong on the top two lines he's too expensive an asset to me.

Hour after the polls opened I was already #72 from my district which is fairly small. All signs point to huge voter turn out around the country today. This is good. Now we just have to get people to realise that local elections also matter, and we might just have a democracy on our hands.

Probably took me about 5 minutes to vote this morning, but I got there before 8 so it was pretty empty. The only time I really waited to vote was in 2012 at my old polling place, the line was out the door to get in at about 6 o'clock in the evening. Side note: I did not receive an "I Voted" sticker today so I'm pretty sure my vote didn't count. I think he ended up as Gary Johnson's running mate.

I understand, and even agree with, that sentiment, but I don't think its enough to make Clinton "scarier" than Trump. A president NOT getting involved in a foreign altercation which doesn't directly involve the country they rule might make them weak, but not scary. Also, Hillary is not Bill, and that was 20 years ago, I don't think its a fair thing to assess her by. If there's more to it I'd welcome hearing it.
