Hopefully we can lock this thread tomorrow and pretend it never existed at all.
-
And like d4rk has been saying about Gio, if our locker room is as bad as reported, maybe these "locker room guys" actually aren't that good in there.
-
So the question then is, is this best of all possible worlds, or the worst of all possible worlds? Both are depressing in their own, fun, way!

:w00t:

Maybe they'll announce them at the same press conference.

GOAL! Murphy. 1-1
-
Trouba has fallen twice on the blue-line on the power play.
-
Gaudreau should have like 4 goals already.
-
Yeah, this is what I believe happened. And I defend his firing in that case. But I'm not going to rewrite history and say he was a bad GM just to make myself feel better about it.

Johnny Hockey almost score about 4 seconds into this game. Phillip Gogulla sighting!

I think we're starting to forget how bad this team was when he took over. Take a look at this thing: 72 Luke Adam 88 Cory Conacher 27 Matt D'Agostini 44 Nicolas Deslauriers 10 Christian Ehrhoff 37 Matt Ellis 63 Tyler Ennis P 1 Jhonas Enroth 65 Brian Flynn 82 Marcus Foligno 28 Zemgus Girgensons 25 Mikhail Grigorenko 31 Matt Hackett 19 Cody Hodgson 36 Patrick Kaleta 49 Connor Knapp 24 Zenon Konopka 22 Johan Larsson 23 Ville Leino 50 Nathan Lieuwen 4 Jamie McBain 29 Jake McCabe 8 Cody McCormick 44 Brayden McNabb 30 Ryan Miller 17 Torrey Mitchell 26 Matt Moulson 57 Tyler Myers 34 Michal Neuvirth 17 Linus Omark 9 Steve Ott © 12 Kevin Porter 3 Mark Pysyk 55 Rasmus Ristolainen 5 Chad Ruhwedel 32 John Scott 21 Drew Stafford 80 Chris Stewart 52 Alexander Sulzer 20 Henrik Tallinder 78 Corey Tropp 26 Thomas Vanek © 84 Phil Varone 6 Mike Weber 61 Nikita Zadorov ru D 18 6-5 230 L/- R April 15, 1995 1 G, 0 A, 1 P Several of those players were gone already, including Vanek. I mean, jesus, there is almost nothing there. EDIT: Oh god, that looked so much better when I pasted it, give me a minute to edit it into something readable. EDIT#2: Fixed. Also, I counted, there are 6 players on that team that still play for them now. 6. Out of 46. Thats an 87% overhaul of the roster, and thats not including the fact that at least one of those players Murray brought in.

Right, the Kulikov one is bad, I don't mind the Lehner thing but I get why people think we overpaid. The Fasching/McNabb trade might have hurt more than it helped, too. But saying he lost every trade is nuts to me.
-
I think you're nuts if you believe he lost the Kane or O'Reilly trades, which are by far the most important trades he's made.

Andrew Peters (on the radio): We now interrupt our show to go live to the Pegula press-conference, where he is expected to announce Jason Botterill as the new General Manager of the Sabres *At Pegula presser. Pegulas, Botterill, Brandon on the dais.* T-Pegs: Thank you all for coming. We've done extensive work over the last few weeks, interviewing numerous candidates. We would like to announce our new GM. He's a great young hockey mind. We think our fans will be very excited about the future of our team. I before I bring him up here to answer your questions I'd just like to say....this one's for you, Wildcard. *Dangerous by Big Data starts playing* Peters: BAH GAWD, THAT'S KYLE DUBAS'S MUSIC *Dubas runs out from behind the curtain wearing a shirt that says "SAFE CHOICE" and nails Botterill with a folding chair* Dubas, grabbing the mic: ANALYTICS, BITCH

John VoglVerified account @BuffNewsVogl 2m2 minutes agoMore Well, none of these people are Jason Botterill or any Sabres candidate, unless they're going really outside the box with an unknown.

Eichel Ties you say? http://thecomeback.com/puckdrunklove/the-locker/don-cherry-sports-usa-tie-after-jack-eichel-gifts-him-usa-shirt.html

This is a perfectly cromulent answer. What are you trying to get out of it? Because as others have said, your resolution is only as good as the initial photograph, which is all a pdf is. If you just want to be able to read something that's un-readable, some PDF program's have a PDF-to-text option that can port it into a word doc. The computer might be able to read some stuff that you can't, though its far from perfect.

Oh man, this is good stuff: https://nihilisa-frank.tumblr.com/

Tanking doesn't matter. Winning doesn't matter. Nothing matters. God is dead and we will all follow soon. Enjoy Arby's.

Man, Botterill looks like every kid who played on my high school football team.

What a shot. White on blue and blue on white. Gorgeous.

Brodin and a 3rd from Minnesota for #8. Minnesota according to this :http://www.hockeysfuture.com/team-rankings/fall-team-rankings-2015-16/page/3(which is a year old, but is probably still fairly applicable since its post draft), their prospect line is very weak. They have no picks in rounds 1 or 2 this year, and none in round 2 next year. They are an aging team, and losing Brodin for nothing to the Expansion Draft as some predict would be rough. Sabres get a solid, young second line D-man (he was playing ~20 minutes a night for Minnesota last year) in a year with a weak-ish draft, and would have 2 seconds and 3 thirds this year, which is some decent ammo if they want to move up or grab another player. Minnesota gets some return for a guy they could lose anyways, and a chance to add a solid prospect.
-
Got it, only hire people who lose a lot. They're due!
-
Why is Botteril horrible? I mean, I don't find him exciting or anything, but he seems like a sane and solid choice; his name is always brought up during GM searches.
