Also, my being upset about the NHL not being included has nothing to do with the quality of hockey, I'm sure it's not going to look like a Keystone Cops episode out there. For me its about seeing NHL stars competing for their country. Its like an All-Star game that actually matters. Also, I really want to see Eichel play for USA. Someone is going to do this; I'd put money on it being the NBA. NFL won't because most of their stuff is still on broadcast, and the NBA is forward thinking enough to pull this off. Heck, the NHL and NBA should pair up, get me both leagues for a decent price with good streams that will work on any of the 10000 devices you're able to stream on now. I don't watch much NBA because its barely worth the pain in the ass to watch the games I care about, that means games I'm casually interested in definitely aren't worth it. But put it on my apple TV/Xbox/firestick/chromecast/computer/window/rock/smart-fridge without having to reload it 6000 times a game? Sure, i'll watch some games. The problem with all the streaming stuff is monetizing it, but I think people streaming at home would be willing to still watch commercials if it meant ease of access to all the games they can ever watch.

Between this, the girl I posted about above, and Jason Isbell who I've just started giving a try, I'm hoping for a country music rebirth where I can actually like it. Should have posted here before, but I ended up going to the USMNT Gold Cup game in Cleveland on Saturday. A group of friends was going and invited me but I had begged off (I had in my head that it was the same weekend as my wife's birthday), but then when last week came around and I was free that day I bought a ticket and met them down there: It was very cool; my first time at an international match. Granted, the US lineup was a little disappointing since A) its a WCQ year and B) we were already guaranteed to make it to the next round, so it was kind of the B-team of the B-team, but still it was cool to see the team, and I got to see Bruce Arena from pretty close up, plus we won (despite missing two penalties). Next time they're close I'll be making an effort to go again. *worlds largest eyeroll*

Also these families don't really "exist" yet; they're people, but they haven't been made lords so they have no real backing. The new lords would either be: knights from one of the existing families promoted to full lords; or a cadet branch of another house (the Karstarks were Starks that were given their own land; the Lannisters of Lannisport would be another example). Since these houses don't exist yet, they don't have households, bannerman, castles, or even real money or knights of their own to cause any real trouble. They also don't seem to mention anyone in particular who could feel especially snubbed by NOT getting one of the houses. Also, while they haven't mentioned it, they do have the Dreadfort to give away if some one really deserved it.
