    I think if this actually happens then the Sabres make the playoffs. Thats a lot to put on one player, but man that would make a huge difference.

    Not that I'm some great judge of talent or anything, but I was never excited about Kulikov. He was a nothing acquisition to me. Scanner has me much more excited.

    Man, if you ever read the books Jamie gets good as soon as we start getting his viewpoint. He looks like such a 1 dimensional character early on, when you see it from his side it adds so much depth to his character. The whole "so many vows" speech is great, show and book.

    Yeah, same. The first 4 episodes were very good,but now it seems like they're doing "We need to get person x to position y by time z to meet with person w" and just making that happen as quickly as possible. I totally agree; when D&D signed up for this they were supposed to be making the books into TV, not completely writing new ground. Still, I feel like they could do a better job if they'd expanded by another season, or even just made it back to 12 episodes a season instead of 7. I imagine a good portion of that is because the actors are just getting too damn expensive.

    This whole season is just lacking depth. They're rushing it. They set the limit at 8 seasons and now are like "oh , guess we got to wrap this up". Its good television, but bad Game of Thrones, which is sad. On the upshot, I'm back to actually looking forward to reading the new books again. *cries*

    Its weird having him on Everton. I had a friend ask me about him coming back when the rumors started in the winter, and I was like "to me he's a Man U guy", because I started following the team like 3 years ago. But its so different for the lifers. Must be very cool for them.

    Took one yesterday. Felt weirdly tired on my drive home. Came in the front of the house so the dog wouldn't know I was home (otherwise, commence puppy walk/play/feed/general attention time), passed out on the bed for 30 minutes. Felt like a new man.

    I mean, Arya and Sansa never liked each other when they were younger. Yes, they were happy to see each other, if for no other reason than because they each are a touchstone to a past life for each other, but eventually those old ways will creep out. They've both changed, but there's no way they can know how different the other is now. Arya says something like "you always did like pretty things", she thinks Sansa is still the old Sansa.
