I'm all about audio books right now, too. For the last year or so actually. Right now I'm on book 7 of 14 of Robert Jordan's The Wheel of Time. Let me tell you, I wouldn't have made it this far trying to read it from the books. 20-30 minute commute every day, plus a lot of times I'll put my headphones in walking the dog, and might have it running while I'm at work or up in my shop at home; that means I'm listening to sometimes 2+ hours a day. If I try to read at night I often get distracted or fall asleep in about 15 minutes unless I'm really wrapped up in the story.

I'd say you'd fallen to the communists, but that was the last name change event.

This is correct. Not a ton, but they have some.

He scares me a bit for sure, but he was Minnesota's backup late last season, I feel pretty ok on him. Part of why I want him though is that unknown; I'm betting he won't be super expensive. If you bring him in on a 2 year prove it to me deal and he works out great; sign him long term or at least franchise him. If not, you've got another guy that you drafted waiting and learning. To me that's two lottery tickets at a pretty decent price.

If you come back in a few years the Explore N' More museum will be open! Though that doesn't really help right now. I definitely agree with EichSnipe; that museum is cool as hell. You're right in that sweet-spot of time where its too cold for warm outdoors stuff but too warm for cold outdoor stuff, which stinks. You can always Uber/Lyft to the science museum or the zoo, they're not far from downtown. If its nice, Riverworks (also either a short drive or a pretty long walk) is a kind of neat place to grab food; they might have some stuff going on there depending on the night; bar league hockey or roller derby.

I mean, Germany is technically a younger country than the US. My "German" ancestors fought with the French in the Franco-Prussian war and had to flee when they lost (they sided with the French because they were Catholic vs. the dirty Lutheran Prussians). People move a lot. We're all from Africa.

Looking like Teddy Bridgewater isn't going back to Minnesota. Please bring me him and draft a guy at 21/22 (preferably Jackson) and actually use the rest of the draft picks.

Also, we already have O'Reilly and McCabe

My expectations for next year are shot, anyways, unless we win the lotto. Give the kid another year, get bigger, get stronger, get better.

Yeah, I called them out on twitter for it today, then they responded to me saying that it was because InfoWars retweeted one of their articles, as if that's a good enough reason. IDC if Alex Jones was super stoked about the Mohawk Place reopening, you don't put that poison on your feed if you're pretending to be an art magazine. Of course thats not what the article was about, and of course they've retweeted InfoWars previously, as well, including calling Roger Stone a "national hero and a true patiot".

Its at least halfway to a fair question I think. Dude has had essentially a full season now; the roster isn't going to change before the league year ends at this point, and really no progress has been made. This team needs a lot of help, and he has brought in...what. Scandella is pretty good, I guess. Thats it, though. I'm not saying we should judge him solely by this year, or that he won't succeed in the long run. but if we assume a GM's job is safe for about 3 years, he's a third of the way through and we've seen no improvement.
