I think thats part of my thinking though, I don't see McCabe leaving a huge whole. He's a step above a JAG who's trending in a good direction, but not more than that. I get what you're saying and I don't need him to leave, but he's on my "maybe as part of a package for a bigger fish" list with Girgensons and a few others.

Gotta spend assets to get assets. McCabe is far from untradeable in my book. He's improving until he's not.

McCabe seems to make a lot of sense for a trade here. Lot of guys at his position, and he's one of the few who make sense to trade AND have any value.

I'm really, really, really worried about Baily and Baptiste ever making the team full time. If they couldn't crack the lineup over the last couple years I just can't imagine they ever will.

I think you had to go pick it up. I never did either. I did my damnedest to ignore the Sabres this year, so I don't even know if I would have got my money out of them.

Agreed. I'm actually ok with them straying from the mystery a bit. Don't want to be like Lost and be all questions with no answers. But you're right that that intrigue is what made season 1 great. I like that they're adding/filling out characters and they don't feel like filler. Who would have thought that Sizemore would have been, like, interesting at all at the end of last season? Also, I started watching GLOW at midnight last night and accidentally watched 3/4 of the season. Oops. Its so good.

It is Chiarelli... Part of the reason his value would go down is that you're going to get him CHEAP for the next 3 years or so. If he's a top pair dman in that time, which most project, his value is super high.

Where are we at on this now? Because I think the best episodes of 2 have been better than the best of 1, but 1 felt more seemless overall as we were watching it. The Riddle of the Sphinx and Kiksuya from this season have both been phenominal though. From the previews I kind of thought Kiksuya was going to be a filler episode; it was anything but.
