Agreed. I subscribed last year to it but only used it sparingly to read some articles here and there. I've read a lot since they opened up the Buffalo office.

My problem isn't that Bots is trying to build from the bottom up. Its that I don't think he's doing a good job of it. I don't like almost any of the pieces he's gotten back from trading 2 of our Top-3 talents.

I've hated both the Kane trade and the ROR trade, and his "smart" pickups haven't panned out yet. He needs to start making some real moves.

I'm generally of the opinion that whoever gets the best player of a trade wins it. The Sabres were never going to win this trade. We'll see what happens now. Jbot should be able to turn some of those first rounders/players into a real winger.

The problem then is that we're depending on people attempting to report this stuff quickly to get the specific wording correct, when they themselves may not know the difference. Which leads me to assume that we can assume nothing about the wording.

Makes sense. He'd have 3 next year if that trade is right. Not doing getting an NHL starter back in this trade is livable if you use some of the stuff from it to get one. Or if you use the space to buy one in FA.
