I'm kinda ok with T-Pegs saying no to letting Fred go. Do we really get that much of a competitive advantage with Brown here instead of Fred? I know he's younger, but it kinda seems like they might just want him more because they traded for him last year. Fred is a face of the team, keeping him doesn't hurt the performance on the field (probably), but losing him hurts PR big time. Worth it.

If freddy goes to a contender I'll be able to live with it, but if we make the playoffs for the first time since he's been in the NFL and he's not here I'll be sick to my stomach...

Got Kyle Williams, too, but if we're a 3-4 this year he'll probably be outside, so that's possible.

Kane's numbers are on par with some of the best players in the league. The guy scores, skates, drives to the net, and fights when he needs to. What's not to like on him? Off the ice attitude? wah.

Home. Got pretty busy as we were leaving after the game. Even about a half hour after I got there there was a wait, but I never saw anyone waiting outside.

I think I appreciate Hasek way more now than I did back then, and not even just because of hindsight. I've started watching highlight reels and such of him, and he was just amazing. Back when he was playing I pretty much listened to them on the radio unless they happened to be on HNiC; we didn't have cable. As great a job as RJ did making him sound exciting...well, he could make Novotny sound just as exciting. Now that I've started to actually watch a lot more of his stuff, its breathtaking/

Wait has gotten better. I walked in on a game night about 6:45 and got a table for 3 right away. Granted, it was a Tuesday. The food is good, but then I like Pearl and apparently people think that's disgusting; the two are very comparable to me. I'd agree that its not worth a 2-3 hour wait, but I'd wait a half hour or so without complaining.

Jo drew our friend's head as a tangerine, and everytime I see it or think about it I laugh. Can't wait til he sees it.
