Whatever you think of Cassel, 4.5 Mil. is way to much to spend on a third string QB. Also, I didn't know this til this week, but apparently you can carry unused cap over, so by cutting him and Freddy, amongst others, the Bills can use that cap space for Dareus, Bradham, and Gilmore next year. Interesting.

Add that to his cap number being prohibitive with what the rest of these guys will be making in 5 years, and it just doesn't make a lot of sense. Not that I mind GMTM asking I guess, if they tell him they'd take a 2nd rounder for him Murray could just take the deal and hope for the best.

I get Cheap James Franco instead of Johnny Depp. I don't hate him; watching a guy like that sober up while going through the zombie apocalypse could be interesting. Also just watching him go insane last episode was kinda fun. On a side note, I'm not sure I can handle the stress of TWO of these shows.

Yup, ADK, and all in one place. My family has been renting lake houses on 4th lake (specifically, Eagle Bay near Inlet if that means anything to anyone) a week a year for like 35 years now, so we know our way around that area, haha. I usually go up for a weekend a year and do one of the 46 with my dad and brother, too. My dad's got about 30 under his belt, me and my brother are around 15 each, but not the same ones. I'll have to try Azure some time. If you're looking for more mountains w/ the fire towers, I can suggest Blue Mountain, which is a couple hours up, or Bald(also called Rondaxe) mountain, which is only about 45 minutes up, but is one of the best bang for your buck hikes I've seen up there. You can do it while you're on your way other places if you happen to be driving on 28 passed the Fulton Chain.

Got back Friday from a week in the mountains. Awesome in and of itself. In addition, going to a place where an internet connection isn't possible make it that much easier to put the phone down and enjoy your time. I need to do that more.

Did a liiitle fishing in Fourth Lake in the Adirondacks this last week. Just casting off of a dock. Got a few nibbles, but nothing to show of it. Not super surprising based on where I was; it was nice to just finally get a line in the water.

Mine was similar, except we did beer tour on Saturday around Seneca Lake, and we at a TON of corn.

Leaving tonight for some camping on Lake Ontario for my friends' Jack and Jill weekend. Drinking, cigars, and a giant slip and slide. Can't wait. Then I leave directly from there to spend a week in the ADK with my family. Today is going to be REALLY long.

No, definitely not all of them. Trump is in there. Perry and Bachman spring to mind. And crazy was the wrong word (except for Trump, I stand by it for him, even if you exclude politics), radical is probably more the word I want (I think its technically "reactionary" when talking on the conservative side). I don't like Jeb, and I didn't like Mitt, but I wouldn't put either of them in that category. But as a person who's pretty liberal, but with some conservative tendencies, there hasn't been a Republican candidate for president I've even considered voting for, even in primaries, outside of McCain. There is no middle ground with that group; they have to be so far to the left to get through the primaries they're just this side of un-electable. The groupthink shot is fair, though, I definitely fall into that from time to time. I tend to assume Republican politicians are going to be hyper-radical because any time I hear a quote I consider "crazy" its always from that side. Maybe I'm not listening hard enough.

I guess we can look forward to President Trump challenging Putin to a fist fight, so that's something. Is there anything the Democrats can do to grab some of the Republican base away from the crazies (re: the candidates)? Is there any common ground there? Because it sure seems right now that Democrats might keep winning the Presidency, but they're going to have harder and harder time winning seats in congress. There's something about the hardcord right-wingers that appeals to these people, and I think its to the Dems benefit if they stop ignoring that entire segment of the population, just like the Republicans should be looking hard at the Latino population to help them in the general.
