Cant go to an FB game anymore. To expensive to wait half an hour on TV timeouts, makes the game unwatchable in person, not much better on TV, it will really suck if hockey goes that root. -

IMO best root beer is Virgils, no corn syrup, mollasis, nutmeg, licorice and wintergreen among other ingredients. https://theafterburnsg.files.wordpress.com/2012/04/healthy-soda-virgils.jpg -
I too dont get the Yandle love, not great on D, too many turnovers with the puck, yes he can skate and shoot, but he is not a physical presence. Combine Yandle with Bogo and then you have a core hockey player!
-
I too have pondered the core question and beg to differ on size. Was thinking of the 70s core with french connection plus luce and ramsay plus 3 to 4 D, Drury era had Briere and Dumont plus young guys including Vanek... Still seemed to me the successful cores in Sabres history were about 9 deep and +1 when a goaltender is included. I would argue 4 D, and 5 forwards. so far Sabres are 1 to 2 forwards short and probably 2 D though McCabe could fill one of those rolls despite last nites game.

Sabres were really out skated tonight, despite hometown refs, they played passive especially Risto and McCabe laid an egg, 1st line was working but if Eichel does another fly by in offensive zone I say sit him despite his shot. Sabres looked outclassed as a team. -
N'eo, do you know Parry Sound that well or is the misspelling a sign you are quoting from an article?

Understood on the last Sentence, but to be be perfectly correct its a mix of both, some direct ie when public resolution are put on ballot and a republic when we vote for officials to represent us. But yes originally it was formed as an indirect democracy known as a a Republic. -

PS my best police story is from an officer friend and fellow hockey adult league linemate in the DC area had one of his daughters skate with us. Big 6'4" guy kept slashing said daughter till she baseball batted him across the wrist and threatened to kick his ^#~,,#{! We all stood up to protect her except Dad who was confident she would. Guy got scared when he saw us sit back down. He had trained her in self defense. Needless to say she married a Marine MP... -

Mixed as others have stated. I have and had a number of friends who are officers and often work with officers in the ER doing xrays and CT scans on arrestees and victims. As you stated there good and bad officers, the younger crowd with experiences from IRaq or Afganistan seem to have the hardest time understand that in a civilian society they are here to serve and protect. Got one reassigned to the xray machine with one of the old bulls when working on Capitol Hill for being disrespectful. I knew his Lueitenant... The older ones seem to intuitively know what is a threat. Most have been respectful, a couple have been jerks and suspect they would be regardless of their profession. I am always respectful, but like all authority, it should be questioned because it is fallible. The biggest question to is how avoid direct conflict. I advocate going up the food chain when an officer is abusive which I have done. Still some recent actions of a few knuckleheads have given police in general a bad rap. But police need to remember this is a democracy not run by them and they are not the final say so, just an immediate one that can only be effective based on mutual community trust and outreach. I am tired and this question has so many different layers in my life. My Dad a former Navy frogman eod, along with other former service members who became college professors effectively protested police abuse on UB campus in the 70s called the 45 group. Like I said my experience is complicated: -
I like Weber to and dont understand all the hate towards him, he is what he is, and not the beast he once was bobbleheading Cindy. But I disagree on Risto, he is showing more and more nasti to his game... Still while overstated, until he gets in a fight, agree there is more Euro he needs to rid himself of. I believe it is coming... You can see it.

Gionta's dump and chase game I was in thinking DD was using to try to get Eichel to learn that and to be honest Eichel sucks at it. He was a bit better last nite but he still gets tentative going into the corners. I was thinking this is why Jack is playing with those two. Unfortunately, Moulson just is a step past his prime and Gionta too so they cant be as irritating as they once were. As frustrating as this line is, i can see a purpose for the development of Jack. Reinhardt hustle and development is the goal. Still sabres need two more young goal scorers... Baptiste and hopefully one in the draft. -

Luv the line of Kane, OReilly and Reinhardt, but Sabres need another scoring line and Gionta with Eichel and Moulson aint cuttin it. -
A the mothman prophesy, hmm would it be sterile?
-
True but some D can and are often developed. Can throw in an Ennis/Moulson to move up to grab a 2nd round late first and draft one.
-
No I couldve figured that one out on my own... lol Medical scrubs.
-
Anyone know where I can order scrubs in sabres colors with new old logo? All I can find is the slug logo scrubs online?
