See I dont get you obsession with the label center... it is easier to learn to play wing than center and most can transition to wing... the question you should ask is who are the forwards the Sabres can/should keep... TT, Mitts, Jost and Krebs have shown the ability to various degrees to play both positions... position flexibility is a strength and while I get your argument for a strong D and I want one too... there is more than one way to skin that cat... my concern with you focus on Krebs and Mitts as trade bait is that these two are ahead in their development over the likes of Kulich, Savoie and Rousek and would be a setback introducing 3 rookies toward overall team success minus the two above mentioned... not saying 1 or more will exceed them and depending on fit and the right deal at next year's trade deadline... but again I advocate for patience... injuries tend to allow this to happen organically... KO probably gone leaving at least one opening. We will see what happens with ollie in the off season and who knows about fA signings... nothing is written in stone... depth is a good thing to have at forward.

Trip I think you are off base on Krebs.. does he have some development to go and probably another 10-15lbs to put on... but his speed as a rookie, learning how to forecheck this year and his tenacious enthusiast attitude will only help this team... you are too eager to throw the baby out with the bath water imo.... like coffee you gotta let it percolate before it becomes stronger.

Interesting worth a try... based on younguns coming this team, as others have said, maybe able to switch line combos and be very versatile depending on the matchups needs... Kulich and Rousek would like a word with you... bettin they get injury time at the very least.

3-3 imo live is fun but yeh a bit gimmicky... that being said for novices like my wife who went with me to the Rags game she said she thoroughly enjoyed it and the shoot out... guess it depends on marketing...

Sad the season is over would have liked to see them in the 1st round but they probably werent ready... need a big rough and tumble D on the back end that doesnt give the puck away... Lots of possibilities at forward, cant wait to see Savoie and Kulich along with Rousek... his speed and net front should be a good addition... Another year for young guys to get bigger... future is bright.
