Priorities to add this year and its not easy... a number 1 goalie and a nother top 4 big tough D man who can skate and isnt an idiot.

I think that Sabres need to organize better off season workouts or at least have some off season program and monitor each guy and track them... Quinn's issue was achilles during work out and then regaining confidence on how much he could push himself...

Maybe... Sabres need to add top 4 D not replace... now if you can trade Power in addition in a hockey trade sure...

But he brings in a top 4 physical D you have to consider him or maybe Quinn.

Totally forgot about Greenway... but with young guys improving... Greenway healthy is good depth and physical change of pace... guess you could trade a forward if return D is the right player... Use our first rounder this year as currency too unless its one of the big physical first rounders and consider trading one of the young guys in the AHL

Im not sure you trade a forward... Bryson and Clifton are deal sweeteners... current forwards can score... D is the problem and goaltending

If necessary keep Muel... Clifton 7th man and the above isnt horrible... yeh Bryson just isnt big enough... still would love it if Adams traded 1st rounder for an established D man and signed Ekblad...

Kozak, Krebs, Kulich and Benson growing their games... the additions of Zucker, Malenstyn, Laferty and McCleod... Quinn finally playing better and Peterka growing up with Tuch and Thompson... Im ok with the forwards... D is another story... gotta get better on D...

interesting discussion... 10 games left... Sabres still technically not out of the playoffs... yet they are... so Im in the camp of why not give a couple of the best players on the Amerks a couple games and see how they fare... play them against playoff teams that need points.

And as we have all seen... Often D take a long time to come into their own... not wuite like goalies but not unheard of

Goaltending and better D, Docker plays positionally well and is tough in the corners... bigger than I thought... still want Power gone but he played less soft tonight... Yes the sabres were outskated but largely controlled the front of the net against a team that goes to the net... played the game like an away game... tight D... waited for chances... With Zucker and Malenstyn they do play smarter... wish they couldve done it all season... Loving Kozak's hustle...

Id be okay trading Power for a tougher stay at home D highly rated from a Team that needs an offensive defenseman...
