Not sure about Östlund he is not far away but still seems a little timid on offense, not along the boards but in finding his shot or maybe just deferring too much... but you can see the skill... As far as Benson goes he has skill and moves and is getting pestier as he goes along... off season strengthening program should do him wonders...

nah you dont crap the bed on a young defender... who is learning to deal with playing hurt... yes still need another big tough D but If you can get two then sure.

I think you need adjust on D and goalie... Im ok moving Muel if you can get a more mature strong D less injury probe.

What about Jackson Smith, Sabres need D more than forwards... called up Östlund, Helenius scored a hatty in Rochester last night, Kozak Greenway and Norris out... Kulich looking the part... Rousek and Rosen still in Rochester.... Sabres arent needing forwards... top defender and top goalie are biggest needs and I would argue goalie is priority number 1, but no idea how to judge one because they are so difficult to predict.

Östlund needs better O guys setting up Mal and Laf with great passes is almost futile... still great passing.
