Woods already had multiple ankle surgeries. One went bad and he had to miss summer sessions. It's looking like a chronic thing. He certainly played on the field decently last year when he was out there. I just wouldn't rely on him long term. He takes pressure off the foot and next thing you know his groin and back are gone. It's an exciting top 4 WR group on paper, but they all have tragic flaws.

Goodwin blew a hammy too. He's not skinny like Parrish was, but unless he can take some sort of pounding and take advantage of his speed by breaking off routes on a regular basis....he will be limited. Woods had issues in college. If you go back to last year's draft thread, I said he is a high ankle sprain waiting to happen the way he runs. At the combine, I have never seen such a "sloppy", for lack of a better word, way of running the way he goes. He pushes out like a speed skater as he runs. It jumped out at me right away. It doesn't mean he is going to always be hurt, but he has a much better chance.

I will give Pegula credit for 1 act of meddling.... one of the first things he did when coming here was to get Darcy to see if Chicago was interested in moving Kane for Myers.

Good list.... I've been trying to capture my apprehension, and you found it for me. Peter Warrick. I've been looking how to describe Watkins....and he is 1 part Julio Jones and 1 part Peter Warrick. I haven't thought of that guy in ages. I'm scared. EJ has knee issues to begin with and probably second guesses himself any time he wants to scramble now. We just drafted 3 O-linemen that I could probably hit their measurable with 4 months in the gym. Woods is a nice receiver but has ankle issues. Goodwin is explosive but couldn't stay healthy either and isn't built to take a lickin. Williams is Williams. I really hope this works out. I'm scared. If it does....sweet. If it doesn't....2020 before a Buffalo sports playoff run.

It's been so long since I've actually been emotionally invested in a playoff run that I forgot what it was like to want to decimate the other team. On one shift yesterday I think both teams checked guys' heads into the boards from behind a total of 4 times. I felt, "it". Not against any team, just empathy for their plight and instinctive response.
