Ted is more of a ferret. You can domesticate him and he'll snuggle with you as you feed him fine cheeses......

I'm not pissed. I couldn't care less at this point. I was pissed 7 and 6 and 5 and 4 and 3 and 2 years ago.....but I was just being negative and wearing a tinfoil hat as to where things were and where they could possibly go. I'm disappointed Nolan didn't wake anyone up. It's over.

Bologna 2 years ago we had "Shart for Reinhart" as sayings here. He was the unquestioned #1

The Sabres took the #2 Pick and the #1 forward in the draft, who 2 years ago...was being whispered about in the same likes as McDavid. So far, Cody McCormick looks like 5x the player. The whole idea of bringing Nolan in was trying to short-circuit the pussified, losing culture. It hasn't worked. This team is probably 3 years away from even sniffing the playoffs, and 5-6 from being a top 8 team if things go well. Am I wrong to hope Ebola makes it's way to Phoenix?

The guy wasn't Dom-like. Sure...Canada could have won 6-1...but because of the system, the system which relied on storming transition and drop passes...Latvia could have put up 3 or 4 goals of their own. Bottom line, it is an insult to claim a coach is just going into these games willy-nilly....and when the Sabres are doing the same stuff as Latvia but with 50% the effort, expect pain. I am the first to admit that Nolan's biggest asset is motivation, which is why I started this thread. Oh well....does any of this even matter anymore? It's like arguing over Casey Kasem's dead body.

I'm saying when you get toxic mold in the time share, you don't get too nervous until it's time for your 2 weeks. And I started the thread.....it's a Love Canal on top of a Tire Fire. Name the coach who wants to take this team over in November? Name the coach who wants to take this team over next July if they finish with 50 points?

You didn't watch the games did you? Go look at my comments in the Olympics game day threads.....I said what Nolan's system was. D4rk and 11 were watching....clear as day. Amen. Pegula has the Bills now, so the Sabres are like a 2 week timeshare in Ft. Myers to him. Tim Murray has to be thinking about dropping fentynol into his coffee.
-
Uh huh.... I guess you didn't check the odds before the olympics.... And if you watched all their games, the system was brilliant given the dogsh!t he had on that team. At least that dogsh!t tried to stick on the bare feet of it's rivals.... If you think Girgensons gives 60% of the effort for the Sabres that he did in those games.....

Yes.... People that are grossing out.....the place I had them did the same thing. They were thin-sliced homemade chips....they'd fry them, then put on the crumbly bleu cheese....then bake it. I had it at the Buckhead Diner, which they are known for....but I couldn't believe I hadn't had something similar in Buffalo. Throw a little Frank's in on the bake, and it is perfect. -
It worked for Latvia. Problem is, every one of those guys busted their butts because they were playing for pride and their country. The Sabres have half the team making $50K a night, knowing management pretty much wants them to suck. It's a great system when you are outmatched if the guys actually give a crap.

I think as long as they hold that pricing, it is more than fair given the selection. It was a well thought out menu....balanced between blue collar and Chet and Muffy. Does anyone else around here do bleu cheese chips? I love those badboys and was wondering how a place like Atlanta could perfect them and Buffalo didn't even have it. Be honest....who here wishes they would let you turn in your season ticket for an equal credit the night of the game at the bar? -
Good question

I don't think the public would panic under normal circumstances if this is limited to a few dozen people in a handful of cities. It is the obvious mixed messages and seeming lack of cohesion that has people talking more than the "scare" itself. The worse it gets, the more it looks like a coverup, the less trust, the more panic. The lax border control is also an underlying issue, but that's just an excuse to make it political. You talk about horses. The funny thing is, if you want to bring a racehorse into the US, it has to test clean in it's own country and be on lockdown.....then can only enter the US through 1 of 4 airports....THEN has to go to a special facility where it is in quarantine another 2-3 weeks. It costs like 5K just to quarantine a horse. For domestic horses, you can't even ship between states unless you have negative tests for certain diseases within a few weeks and need to travel with a horsie passport. It's amazing actually, but it works.

That's a crazy game..... I didn't get it. But NJ/NY just took it upon themselves to quarantine people where the feds have not. Interesting stuff.
-
What is considered an outbreak? How about these "expert doctors", galavanting around bowling alleys and subways? You just see the one in NJ who was complaining about being in quarantine just spiked a fever tonight and is now in isolation? These people have MDs and 10 years of higher education....... There is no need to panic, but there is also no need to be the housewife on valium, standing in the kitchen, robotically stirring a sauce pot at 2am on a Saturday, saying, "He'll be home soon. He said he had to work late and he's my husband."
-
New Jersey just did.... States rights in play now. I think the free flow of information at your fingertips gives the ability to tell when someone is full of it. What experts do we have here? The CDC said it would never get here. Then said it would not spread. And I defer all my hockey decisions to Darcy. He's the expert!

How many minutes did 18,000 scream and cheer as Umberger layed unconcious on the ice?

Uh huh....come November and December when 10's of thousands go to the ER with "the flu". So who is going to be the lucky 1 of 1,000 with ebola? Are ER's going to treat every ER patient with flu-like symptoms as an ebola patient? #factsnotfear #blueprint
