  1. In the last 14 games of the season,....Marcus Foligno had 6 goals and 7 assists In the last 14 games the previous year......Nathan Gerbe had 8 goals and 3 assists A drunk is sober more than 50% of the day. For once I'd like the team to start out hot then crash to where they always end up at the end of the year. It's amazing what a few good weeks can do to entrench mediocrity because of the recent effects on fan psychology. As a complete body of work, there really isn't anything to trust on this Sabres team.
  2. Craft Beer.......... :nana:
  3. Darcy lets Jay McKee walk......AGAIN!!!
  4. OK, who put the Habanero in Taro's Metamucil?
  5. Not to be a dick.....but that list should jump out at everyone here. If you're going to buy at Tiffany's......you better come home with more than a pair of earmuffs. Lot's of bling on that list.
  6. I hope his mom does the induction speech. She's a firecracker.
  7. Free Speech.....Awesome!
  8. Better to do this than have him get hurt. This game is not for the faint of heart. It sucks though. They were probably working on it all week to try and see if they could get it down but if it was getting worse just galloping, no way you even think about sending him out there.

  10. See you next Thursday.....
  11. I hate the fact that a car seat only captures aroma for a mere 5 minutes
  12. The only way he comes back is if Miller gets shipped in a package for a #1 center. Pegula would have to double the checks to the local PBA's to keep the breathalizers holstered even further.
  13. Haha......you know Pegula is all giddy at the thought.....and you know Darcy probably wants no part.....soooooo.....who gets their way? The ideal situation has Darcy talking pegula out of it, Burke is desperate for a goalie and then signs him, allowing Hasek to be within a few hours of Buffalo and Detroit.....the Leafs make it to the playoffs and then some and the Sabres miss.....and Pegula goes scorched earth. That is what I see.....unless the Sabres feel Enroth is ready to take on a bigger load and transition him a year under Dom, but there is no way Darcy wants any part of this. Let's see if he gets puppeted yet again.

  15. Dude.....Goldbond....get the green bottle. You complain about sweaty balls more than i complain about Regier. $10....last you the summer.
  16. Grouper.....the power forward of fish. Love it. And for the fish dip Eleven is making.....why not whitefish? Eat it all the time in Florida with some tostito chips.
  17. I hope you got a chance to bet the undercard. I also hope you didn't make it there until Race 4. If you just put $2 to win and place each race, you got $65.10 back on $52 bet. If you followed through on the whole schbang, $253 wagered got you back $546.90 I hope at least someone went with my pick of the day. I don't mind losing on Bodemeister since it was such a great race and now there may be a Triple crown. I look at it as a donation.
  18. Thanks He ran a good race in the Derby. I know for a fact they wouldn't run the horse unless they knew he is doing well. They have your same outlook that Bodemeister may have run too fast in the Derby and is ripe for a "bounce".
  19. Nice horse...great connections
  20. Here is a modest day of wagering for the Preakness. I don't think many of the undercard races are on NBC sports, but if you have a dish, HRTV will be nonstop live I would guess. I am assuming $250 or so bankroll. $50 spent on the Preakness. If you want to be safe, just plunk $2 Win/Place on each race for $52 total bet. If you don't cash at least 1 race, I will send you an autographed picture of me and Darcy Regier at the Sundowner. Races should be on the turf so that isn't an issue. Races start at 10:30 AM Race 1) $5 Win + Place #12 No Easy Answer Never run on turf, but has a pedigree that could improve on it. A closer that runs longer, so may not even get into it, but tons of speed to chase. Trainer not a good turfer, so there is a good chance he will be big odds. Worth a shot Race 2) $10 Win #7 Albrecht Will be one of 2 favorites in a small field and probably 2-1 or so. Consistant and a by a sire who loved the track and has horses that keep improving late Race 3) $10 Win #5 Smart Sting, $3 Exacta Box 5-7 Nice turf horse on the improve for a great turf trainer. Probably 4-1 or so.....and box with the likely favorite Race 4) I can't see beating the #4, but the win will pay $2.80.......If you want action, try a $5 Pick 3, 4-14-8 Race 5) $10 Win #14 Wire Funds, $2 Exacta Box 1-14 Weak turf allowance. The 14 is all turf but fits and could improve. Probably 5-1. A little box for the heck of it Race 6) $15 Win #8 Il Villano Really nice horse who has lost to good horses. Working great and looks the part. 4-1 or so Race 7) $10 Win #7 Magical Merry, $3 Exacta Box 7-8 This is a good betting race. Lots of contenders. This one might be ok odds because is consistant but not flashy. Ready to improve in the cycle though Race 8) $10 Win #8 Bandbox Another wideopen race. This horse was highly touted and has been so-so lately. Will be 7-2 or so, but off of former potential I will give a shot Race 9) $20 Win $10 Place #2 Skyring, $1 Tri Box 2-7-9, $1 exacta box 2-7-9, $3 exacta 2 with 7,9 I'm taking a big shot on this race. Some of the favorites have big turf trainers, but my pick has a huge turf pedigree and is 1st time on turf. Could be bet down to 5-1 but could be 10-1. The 7 also is 1st turf but has the pedigree. These are the types of horses you can score with Race 10) $10 Win $5 Place #4 Daring Reality, $2 Exacta Box 4-8 Another by Include, who dominated the circuit. She is not a spectacular filly, but is on the come. Decent odds expected. May not be in the picture, but good value Race 11) $10 Win #9 Air Support, $2 exacta box 9-10, $1 tri key 9 over 8.10.11 Had one giant race as a 3yo and is consistantly good. Needs more to beat a good field, but I will take a shot off a disappointing last race. Race 12) Preakness.....see above post........Possible Double $5 7-12 Race 13) $10 Win $5 Place #12 Spinnaker Bay This horse is sneaky good turf pedigree and is 1st time and only 3rd race total. There may be a Daily Double with the Preakness.....so if you want to get better odds on Bodemeister.....hook him up with this horse in the Double Good luck.....don't do anything stupid.......and a Blackeyed Susan tastes 20x better than a Mint Julip.
  21. Thank Pfizer for the support. You know what's fantastic? Getting in on the Facebook IPO.........oh, wait a minute......
  22. 11 entered. If anyone wants to bet the undercard, I have identified a horse in every race for the whole card that I can get behind ahead of time.....which is freakily rare. I am not salivating for anyone, but 4 or 5 races there is value I would think. If time allows, I will break down all 13 races to some point and maybe give you a wagering technique if you had a $200 bankroll for the day. For the Preakness itself, morning line odds dead on as expected....Bodemeister 8-5, I'll Have Another 5-2. The racing world is keyed on Bodemeister, and even though i don't bet favorites often, I will probably be all over him. I will look for value and put him over Creative Cause...who will be possibly as low as 4-1 to 7-1. I thought he had an issue going into the Derby, but the way he ran and the fact he is here says he is probably ok. Teeth of the Dog is the interesting longshot at 15-1. If you use $50 on the Preakness out of the $200, I'd go: $30 Win Bodemeister $1 Tri Key Bodemeister over Creative Cause, Teeth of the Dog, I'll Have Another $4 Exacta Box Bodemeister/Creative Cause $3 Exacta Bodemeister over Creative Cause/Teeth of the Dog If it ends up Bode and then Creative Cause and Teeth of the Dog 2-3 either way....you should take home between $250 and $350
  23. Thanks to Ruff and Regier, he hasn't had a GDT to complain in for over a month......... :o
