  1. Romney 85% to win VA 70% NC 50% FL 45% Iowa 35% Ohio 6% to win the election...he needs all 5.
  2. Heyooooooo!
  3. But the panhandle closes at 9.....that's more red than PA's johnson after 4 of those blue pills......
  4. Favorite moment of voting.....go to vote in church, little confusion among the workers at table so attempt to go to woman with nobody in front of her only to be yelled at by another voter..."Right here...behind my muthaa". OK, so it looks as if I was cutting the line to her, no problem.......I just smile at the nice ladies who obviously just lost at the slots then had to pay for their Seneca cigarettes in quarters. So I stand behind the two and the poll worker hands the ballot to the woman and calls off the ballot count, "She's #666". Me and the guy next to me smile at each other, and of course I couldn't leave it alone and said aloud to nobody in particular, "Wow, that must be really comforting, this being a church and all."
  5. Sounds more like sub-concious On a similar note, there's gonna be some really crazy sabrespace virtual make-up sex after this election.......
  6. Good luck with that........ ;) ...............
  7. You know it's a special day when Bio and Taro get into a b!tchslap contest! It's like that game against the Whalers when Pierre Turgeon dropped the gloves. Never in life has a simple letter "b" played such a crucial role in conveying a message.....
  8. Very true. When we got killed in Florida, I had to venture out at somepoint and found a pizzeria in Miami Beach that had generator power. I asked them how many pizzas they could get me in an hour of waiting, and then I handed them out to neighbors in my complex. It is amazing how good a warm meal tastes after a week, and how much a simple gesture of goodwill can bring people together. Buffalo for sure is a better place because of the crappy winters. You have to look out for each other. I was shocked how much the people in South Florida calmed down and fed off each other when it was really bad.
  9. As our former favorite Bills GM would say......stay tuned......
  10. I have no idea what they are going to do if this other storm hits this week as projected. NY/NJ needs to think about staging areas for residents or something. Any progress made in most places would start again from scratch if vulnerable.
  11. But the mayor said...."We don't expect any hurricane type winds or surge" on Saturday at 8 PM......that's the point...he took it lightly and people stood down. No.....the speed of the storm increased to 28 MPH the few hours before landfall. It was projected to move through at 14 MPH. I'm not talking about wind speeds.....those performed exactally as expected. Again, go back to my posts the Wednesday and Thursday before the storm. It was what it was. If it didn't speed up, NY would have had the worst of the wind twice as long. The storm core was long gone by the time the surge took over. It was supposed to hit at high tide. It's the same reason Buffalo got spared. Cleveland got the 6+ Inches of rain and big time waterway flooding. This isn't political. I'm praising Cuomo and saying Bloomberg was a clown. By the way....my cousin is stranded in zone B without power, sewage, and his car is in parts unknow. He wasn't told to evacuate, but it's a disaster zone. Well.....if you woke up at 8 AM Sunday to hear the change in decision from when you went to bed last night.....and had all your stuff packed and plans at the ready....you had 11 hours to evacuate becaue they shut down the transportation system at 7PM. If you were a normal person who heard the mayor at 8PM the night before say...."We should be ok....this won't be like Irene last year.....we don't expect any hurricane winds or surge.....we should be able to help other areas and their people once the storm passes.....".......and you wake up at 10AM.....and maybe listen to a broadcast by noon......then have to get crap together and find somewhere to go as most places are rushing to prepare to shut down............
  12. Yes....again, this thing was known to be a monster coming. He played it off. There were 18 previous hurricanes this year I know I didn't feel the need to post about, and this one was so serious I posted about it 5 days before. Just like those that knew what a hit on New Orleans could mean were going crazy ahead of time. I actually think the mayor of NO handled it better than Bloomberg. He got lucky this thing doubled it's speed the last few hours or else it would have been worse.
  13. The Storm projection was the same on Saturday...and Friday...and Sunday...and Monday..... If you watched his nonchalance at the conference, maybe it would make a difference. He downplayed the entire thing until Cuomo went over his head at 8AM and said to get people out. Cuomo did a very good job of taking charge. You would expect the mayor of the most powerful city in the world to have more of a clue....but I guess not. People made fun of Jimmy Griffen saying to have a 6 pick and sit back......this was about 50x as serious and he he fluffed it off until the last second. Do you think NY can evacuate safely in less than 24 hours? The guy was borderline criminal. Edit: Glad you came out pretty much unscathed. Just saw the other thread.
  14. You can give us a better picture than that! Or at least open a Corona bottle with the calves.....
  15. Because the sponsors were pulling out....
  16. You were one of the few really following the potential here.....when Bloomberg came out with this, I flipped. You can even reread the thread starting last Wednesday and see how this all went down and different attitudes. Read these first few paragraphs and try not to puke. How can you blame people when this is coming from your leadership? http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052970203922804578083410823954952.html
  17. You mean the mandatory evacuation zones that as of 8PM Saturday were said to be...."just fine...we'll get through this just fine. We don't expect anything like last year and there aren't going to be any hurricane winds or surge or anything like that. When it is over we can help out the areas that need it." - Mayor Bloomberg
  18. Lunkheads......a bunch of them are lunkheads who if it wasn't for hockey, would be passengers on the giant bus of craptitude.
  19. I hope the idiot is just desperate to get publicity for his book. This is proof why I am on the owners side in the lockout. A 15 year old is running circles around him.
  20. It's far away.....but what were they saying about Sandy 6 days in advance? Nothing to get riled up about, but it would be insult to injury.
  21. I won't be buying a '13-'14 GM..........thanks for the heads up. Sorry...that's crap.
  22. It's far out at least so hopefully a goof, but resources are already stretched beyond thin. If it speeds up, the election could be a snowday.....that's an interesting angle as well.
  23. By the way......hate to sidetrack the political bickering, but today all the models are projecting a major Nor'easter for next Tuesday-Thursday pretty much landing where Sandy did. Not as strong, and a colder core, but big on any other day. Looks for more snow potential but rain and wind on the coast. Still early in projections, but they are all coming together early like with Sandy. http://www.hpc.ncep.noaa.gov/discussions/hpcdiscussions.php?disc=pmdepd https://twitter.com/BigJoeBastardi/status/264092641216581632/photo/1/large
