  1. Ooof....sorry man. Do what you guys feel is right. Depending on the type it is, and what types of treatments or invasive procedures involved, it really is a question mark. How important is a big wedding to you guys? Now if it were me....and i know it isn't....I would seriously think about possibly shotgunning this thing with only the closest of the close to you. Maybe combine a wedding/honeymoon and do a destination thing depending on how much he can tolerate. You can always keep the original date and invite everyone for more of a celebration/party....maybe renew the vows and keep it simple....but if you feel it, why not turn it into a positive and sort of bucket list event? If you stay as is it will be looming over you guys. Girls get goofy and emotional enough as it is.....if you can try and turn this into a positive in some regard, it may keep everyone sane. Good luck.
  2. Bingity Bing Bang Bingo..... This franchise is like a string of properties that are all flooded. Even when the water receeds.....I have no idea who will be salvagable anymore. Toxic mold will be abound. We NEVER take advantage and sell high on any of our guys. We give them crazy contract extensions. Over the past 3 seasons you had Myers, Foligno, Stafford, Ennis, Enroth, Adam.....all on fire for a matter of weeks at one point. We NEVER sell from strength....always weakness....minus an UFA on deadline day. Selling Low + Contract Albatross + Systemic Coaching + Cemented Culture = Inefficient Failures Get a relative young coach from juniors in here who has had some NHL assistant experience or AHL head coaching.......and you identify the young guys who don't have toxic mold and who can play with guts. (Foligno, Weber, Brennan, McNabb, Tropp), and you keep the leadership and guys that have played with spunk before having to deal with Lindy (Ott, Ehrhoff, Regehr)......and cross your fingers on (Grigs, Gergs, Pysyk, Armia, etc.). Of course Darcy is gone. Everyone else.....good start of the season or not......you gotta go. You just gotta go........you take your lumps on some trades where you only may be getting 85% return....but you freaking gut this toxic mold of a franchise......you need to erase the crime scene....it's just way too deep at this point.
  3. I used this analogy when Pegula first came.....by keeping Regier and Ruff on, all he was really doing was opening up the cages in the puppy mill for the dogs to roam free. Problem is...after years of being caged and used....the puppies don't want to and can't come out of their cages, especially when they see the same people in charge who have been responsible for them all this time. When the SPCA rescues dogs from a puppy mill, it can take years for the dogs to properly learn how to be social and fully trust anyone again. We've wasted 2+ seasons now. What you see is what you get. The only way to have a chance is to ship out ALL the puppies....or bring in new people to care for them who are properly trained. Even then you probably need to ship a bunch out. It's a sad situation, because it could have been identified years ago. Stanley Cup in 3 years? We may not make the playoffs at the end of the 3 years.
  4. Well if I ever want to kill myself with a smile on my face....that would be the song to do it to.....
  5. Skippy has less preservatives, thus making the canine less hesitant...... Friendly tip..... ;)
  6. I've got $100 on the American Foxhound.....
  7. Let's be positive.....I'm glad they sent 7 instead of 5 out there with the extra attacker.....
  8. At least we didn't do Fat Bobs for this snoozer. We'd be gagging on rib bones.
  9. I love the pan shot....Rayzor: "They need to pick it up. 2 goals is no big deal for this hockey team."......aaaand...cut to Lindy...who looks like he is waiting to take a dump in the Cracker Barrel restroom, but the door has been locked for 10 minutes.
  10. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/vault/article/magazine/MAG1064510/index.htm The only reason I even suspected it on Myers was the Buff News article 2 years ago saying the Sabres were wondering why he was having unexplained bouts of fatigue. Now we hear they are skating the crap out of him and rumors are he is partying it up or something and not in shape. He seems to just by sight be at least borderline in a half dozen categories. Are they doing regular scans of his heart? I have no clue. Does he wear contacts? I don't know. It all just seems possible given his regression and physical characteristics.
  11. Klienfelters makes your point all the more valid! Not a doctor....just know that no matter one's title, we are all human and have chosen different paths for different reasons.... I'm not an NHL GM either, but I have an inkling I could not have burried this franchise any deeper into the ground than the current titleholder.
  12. You have the upper/lower flipped.... How about reach, 4 inches more than height....or elongated fingers? A neck that is long compared to head size? Receeding jaw? Nasal voice and mouth breathing due to high palate? Unexplained fatigue? The breastbone could also be amplified due to elongated ribs. There could be a bulge in the upper aorta...but also a deficiency in fibrous binding throughout the body could have a weakening along the vessel. 3 injuries to the wrist and ankle in 3 years......over-flexation of joints? Poor binding in ligaments and tendons? And if you are relying on the medical staff.....the same staff that dressed Gerbe with 2 broken vertabrae for 3 months......good luck with that! ;) And you aren't wrong with your analysis either!
  13. Oh...we want you....and we'll fly you to a Bowl game on our private plane if we have to....."Hey....CB.....can you cut a check for me?.....thanks bud...."
  14. Must Acknowledge Right Factors And Nag I really think there is a chance they kill this kid. Not even money chance....but like 20-1 chance.....
  15. Big game.....you win this and the team may have bottomed out.....you lose, and you are on a trajectory to horrible, assuming you then lose to Boston. You lose these next 2 and you just don't recover from that type of downward slope in time........
  16. OK...then I'll just pick on the "Trading Kassian is good because we have Foligno" crowd..... :P
  17. Haha....they probably lose 5-2....Weber will be a -2 and get scratched for the Bruins game just in time for Boston to come to town and destroy Miller. Just playing some negative, Lindy chess here......
  18. Like one season of play, in 4 years from your 6'8" defenseman that had everyone scared to trade him for a 240lb #1 power center from Southern California who has his team at 8-2-1 after a coaching change last year?
  19. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s27Oq5ot0ZI
  20. It's not the fact Ruff is "calling" Enroth out, it's that we now have the excuse to ride Miller....who has already been overworked, the rest of the year on an average of every other day. Good news is, if they don't right the ship over the next few weeks, the season could end in TOTAL disaster. I can't see this team going on a run the last 10-12 games.....not this team with this schedule. Then maybe you see heads roll.
  21. Looks more like a Stout and Porter rivalry...but who am I to judge?
  22. Might Also Require Further Analysis No???
  23. fitting.....
