In honor of another Sabres bold and decisive decision.......I have decided to direct any and all sexual innuendo towards Chz on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and towards Biodork on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Ink is the Sunday alternate.

Thanks....now I can buy a new pair of sneakers after wading through raw sewage all day.

I actually like the Bills today. The thing about young fellas when they get their egos bruised....they usually have enough energy to work overtime to turn it around. Hackett is getting ripped and rightfully so. Dollars to doughnuts he's been up 20 hours a day with a few cases of RedBull in order to prove everyone wrong. While I don't know what is in store long term, I can see him overcompensating today in order to gain back or just gain some respect. It's sort of like when you first hook up with a girl...you don't want to pull out all your best moves the first night. You like to hope you will be around for awhile and introduce things as it goes along to keep things interesting and catch her off guard. Well, if the Bills start 1-3, she may be out the door. You need something special right now. There's going to be some hair pulling and roaming pinkies at the Ralph today in my opinion.

The Sabres have the best hair in the league between Risto, Armia, and Hodgson

I called 911 on Christmas Eve once....took 15 minutes for a cop to show. Y'all almost got lucky.....

That's a copy.....thank you Big Daddy.....

Perfect!

I'm going to save a classic rant until it really happens.....but if they make him captain, this is the EXACT same "BLUEPRINT that failed in 2007. Gut the team of vets, put all the pressure and expectation on young guys with "potential", and enjoy.

You gotta be F'N kidding me? Pink shirt, ministicks, hair product, riding mower in a polo shirt while listening to Michael Buble on an Ipod as the captain? I pray this is a stab in the dark.
-
It doesn't matter in the grand scheme....just found it funny. The Bruins probably have cancelled practice too, but it was most likely for Metallica.
-
Staying on the same track......got a chuckle that the Sabres cancelled practice today for Michael Buble. That's some good stuff right there....... And I am a troll for pointing out ACTUAL things that are in the Sabres dressing room?

I'm a patient fella......eventually though, I respond.

Submit that one to Ted. It would look great in the locker room on a banner next to "Belief", and "Tofu and Okra Omelet Station"

You have to throw a body check first in order to get suspended......

Yeah, but he has a very square delivery. Most good QBs will angle into the direction to help themselves out. He just seems to plant stationary and use pure arm touch on most of his throws. Now we may always luck into the next Favre....but he needs work to give himself a chance to be good longterm. And the wrist flicks on the longballs......he is delivering them like you lob a grenade. Not to get all advanced statty here.....but when you arc your delivery that much, you limit the timing of the receiver and area where a completion can take place. It's great for passes under 15 yards where great touch can be efficient, and which is starting to look why he likes to go to those routes so much. But you need to hit guys in stride long or else you are just begging for poor results. He's smart enough to know he puts up those grenades, which is why he probably tends towards out of bounds so there aren't as many INT's. Just won't get many completions either. He's got the tools though.....we shall see. He has always been able to stick with guys. I give credit to the new coaching staff. I think they drilled into his head not to try making big plays and being perfect, but use his quickness to close on guys and don't overcommit. He has looked like a volleyball player out there in trying to bat passes down this year, and I love it. He's a good kid....not the sharpest, so I'd rather have him play this way and end up with 2 INTs over the season than return 3 of 6 picks for TDs, but get smoked on a regular basis because he's trying too hard. His simple improvement has been the most pleasant addition this year so far.

They need to find someone on the waiver wire or practice squad. The whole league has known about Rogers for a while. Last week Newton overthrew Ginn on 3 longballs where Rogers was on him. I could have sworn the refs were in on the Vegas line considering how lucky the Bills got with some calls. And for as mature as Manuel is, holy cow his mechanics are showing faulty. I don't think he's put his body into but 1 or 2 throws over 20 yards this season. He is flicking off his back foot...which leads to the accuracy issues. Throwing longballs like that is like trying to play darts from 2 1/2 times as far from the board with the same throwing motion. Touch is ok....but he is starting to look like the equivalent of a "dangler" in hockey. Go to the net big guy....you have the skillset.

I officially like Marrone. I was really nervous with all the graduate school management talk out of him in the offseason....but he is a good mix of objective/subjective. He is a focused bundle of cool anxiety on gamedays, if that makes sense. I can just see the wheels spinning in his head nonstop. I think we will be ok long term. On the Richardson trade....maybe something is up. Either he has an issue, or with giving up on Weeden, there are just going to tank it this year. Who knows.

I'm not sure if you can bet props in Vegas such as "unanimous decision" or "majority decision", so the scorecard is a headscratcher given how easy Mayweather made it look. The only thing I can think of is that behind the scenes there could have been chatter to set up a rematch and get people riled up since this was such a huge moneymaker, but Alvarez wasn't even in the same league even though many gave him a real chance. She might just be too stupid to realize there was no way of making it look close. Sort of like in football or hockey when teams get calls. I don't think there is a real edict that says "make sure the Patriots or the Habs win".....but depending on how close the teams are playing, you can see calls made that look like there is a bias. If Montreal is losing 5-1 in the 3rd, 5 straight penalties on Buffalo will look mighty suspicious. If they are losing 3-2 with 5 minutes left....ok...sure...that looks like a hook by Ehrhoff..... That's the only thing that makes sense here. She's just a dolt.

I spy: Probable PMS given the Advil and Snyders of Hannover salted pretzels within such a close vicinity.
