Though it may not seem like it from reading this thread, there are positives to Roy's game. The bottom line for me is that he is a good value at a 4 million dollar cap hit per year. You don't find guys who can (and normally do) put up 65-75 points a year while also being responsible in his own end (including a good amount of time on the PK) at 4 million per. The way contracts for truly mediocre players seems to be inflating in this league, I believe Roy has become a bargain, regardless of what has become popular opinion around here. He is a good player and could certainly help your team.
