My main observation is this team is broken. Not sure if its a all skill is broken, resolve is broken or what but that's the only way to describe it. We have had players come in show some skill and within weeks they go in the dumper. Did LR breakthrough team this bad that there is no recovery but a full fire sale and starting all over????

I remember when Bowman and Neilsen came I thought NOW we will win the cup. Lost track of team from 81 - 83 since I was away at grad school and only hockey one saw in NC was on ESPN but did do my best to find a pot in town were WGR came in on the radio even poorly was better than nothing.

When the sabres did these road crew things lindy was always willing to,talk to the fans in raleigh. He seemed to like coming here and hearing us out shout canes fans. He was always approachable and easy to talk to. I liked the guy but felt this team needed a new direction and a coaching change was easier than changing out all the players. Not saying it will work but always felt his teams started to tune him out.

I remember punch and joe crozier, Scotty bowman, and all the rest, it's hard to think that there are 16 priors since lindy had been here so long. I was at a game when I think gimp Worley got hurt and Eddie shack was bringing the stretcher out onto the ice making the sound of a siren. What a character that guy was. Got to meet many of the early 70s sabres since a buddy of mines dad ran local radio station that carried sabres games and they always had a spare ticket for me. yeah i get it just hope they have an idea versus JP and KA for the rest of the season. This team needs a coach that lets them play naturally and not scream like a child every time they make a mistake. I wanna see a coach that insists on a forecheck and pressure and lets his goalie deal with the times the pressure fails.

i dont like the Interim idea of Patrcik at all unless its just a game or 2 to get their guy signed. Personally no matter how bad ya think Darcy better have had an idea on possible replacements for ruff if not his head should be gone.

my feelings are split on this. I liked Lindy as a player and as a coach initially. However since the ECF loss to Carolina each year I have found I started disliking what I saw on the ice. The players seem to be playing scared and I didnt like his line shuffling and doghousing of players. Hopefully Darcy will soon be exiting as well, I just dont see him as a good GM. Maybe now that Lindy is gone free agents may want to come play here. I agree with PA would like to see Lindy hoinored sometime in the future for what he did for the franchise as a player and as a coach. I wanna see a whole new staff from outside the organization taht will shake these guys up and find a way to get soemthing out of these guys, I dont think the roster is this Bad but maybe I will be proven wrong.

right and I believe this starts with the Coach. Look at Grigs and other scratches and than putting Drew on 4th line. This team plays scared not playing naturally. They are afraid to do anything and teh second doubting is clear in how terrible they are at moving puck up, dmen jumping in until game is out of control. Also people have claimed we have a bunch of grinders I dont see grinders I see Hecht centering the third line

hopefully that means looking in the mirror and admitting he has lost it and time to hang it up.
