So just like the Reinhart pick, they chose a woeful time to continue sucking.
-
I appreciate you sticking with the moniker
-
He deserved better. He should have gotten a few weeks just to let a few guys know what it takes to make it in the NHL.
-
Add Nylander, Girgensons, Grigorenko, Risto (maybe?), Kassian, Armia, Pysyk as misses or not properly developed.
-
Duclair is a troubling one. He was at a position of need, with no real cost yet the Sabres didn't bother. Just stupid.
-
And we have a puncher!!

For those of you who don't regularly check the Amerks thread, here is a Mittlestadt update. 6GP 0G 2A -4 The Amerks record since he joined 2-4. The Amerks record previously 18-4-2. Might be a coincidence, might be him sucking the life out of this team.

EDIT Bogosian Requests Trade, Now EROD wants One As Well

I'm hoping for Connor McDavid and Drew Doughty as well. -
And unfortunately the Sabres don't have players that play with toughness. They have to manufacture it. So they are *****.
-
I don't think they have competent teachers or students. Maybe both. If the LOG line is doing it, then they are getting the proper source material, it just seems like they are incapable of executing. Risto is absolutely the biggest offender. He makes the wrong decision with the puck nearly every time. Dahlin isn't exactly void of these mistakes as well. Jokiharju can make nice plays with stretch passes but more than a few times yesterday I was asking myself what the hell he was doing.
-
The players away from the puck are the most guilty of this. I'm sure they are instructed to move to the puck, as you've alluded to but it's at the detriment of forward momentum. Giving the opposing teams longer to assess the situation and attack the puck carriers. Almost every pass has me screaming at the TV. I don't understand what they are trying to do.
-
What I have noticed is the Sabres constantly move their bodies and the puck in the opposite direction of the opposing teams net. It's not every player and it's not Everytime but they do it waaaay more than any team they play against. It's maddening to watch.

It was BS but I'd expect nothing less from the NHL
-
Good. Make it so.
-
This is a good point. While I'm thoroughly enjoying this Bills season, I'm not delusional enough to think they've turned any corner. They still seem fairly inept at figuring out anything offensively. Hopefully they figure it out but in not holding my breath.

I'm going to watch V for Vendetta and call this a good night. Remember remember the 5th of November...
-
You might need to ad md Eichel to make this steaming pile of garbage happen.
-
Our boys gave all they could. It wasn't enough. This team needs an overhaul. Get a GM to come in and move the dead weight (Risto, Girgensons, Okposo) and find one that will inject a level of grit while keeping to the analytics crowd. If it means moving Reino or whomever, just get it done. We can't live with this constant craving anymore. We need cowboys to take us to salvation.

Couldn't agree more. Sabres were made their bitch, yet again. I'm gonna find a water polo team to root for.
-
Gotta change my draws
-
Where these guys been for the last 20 games?
-
They don't play the same position...
-
Amerks fall behind as Justin Bailey scores. 3-2 UTIs.

What guy?
