It doesn't absolve the parent team from putting an entertaining product on the ice. Not to mention the kid's confidence. Getting your head caved in every night isn't gonna further his development. As it's been stated before, the Sabres are no better or worse at drafting than any other team. The problem is that we needed those picks to step in right away and contribute as our depth was completely gone at that point.
