Movies / TV Shows - I Have Watched / Plan To Watch
inkman replied to Sabres Fan in NS's topic in The Aud Club
I think the Shield was one of my first binge shows. Followed by the Wire and Breaking Bad. Dexter was in there somewhere but the Shield was awesome. -
They have been acting like Jabba the Donner for a long time now though. Their cash flow is the sports teams and Buffalo businesses. I believe Kim when she says they've reinvested heavily in the Bills. Quite frankly, they needed to. What does that leave them as revenue streams? Sabres and Amerks are cash flow sieves. So 716, the harbor center and the Bandits(?) are their cash cows. Yikes! I'm sure I'm at least 50% wrong but I want to get some folks thinking about.

Po-pour-eat?

I can't tell you how much I laughed at this. It's brilliant.

You do strike me as the type not to let the gov't borrow your $$$ on a interest free loan.

Why aren't you eligible?
-
We are still waiting for our Stimulus money. Has everyone eligible received theirs?

PSE Announces Numerous Layoffs in Management Positions
inkman replied to Brawndo's topic in The Aud Club
He might be a good leader but whenever the Bills have the ball I cringe at the decision making for personnel use and game management. -
PSE Announces Numerous Layoffs in Management Positions
inkman replied to Brawndo's topic in The Aud Club
Possibly. Maybe all the firings will lead to bringing in people who don't screw up every single player/fan event that ever happens. I know one thing. I don't trust their ability to judge personnel, at all. People please save me the "they got the Bills right" nonsense. They were fortunate and I'm nowhere near convinced that McDermott is anything more than a good defensive coordinator. -

I'll buy this. Still trying to wrap my head around them being cash poor. Do you thinks it's a thing or are they just going all OSP collecting packets wherever they can? -
I've been working through the whole pandemic. We make Booze and other assorted goodies deemed necessary. We just started making hand sanitizer last week. It's pretty nerve-wracking. I won't get into details as to why, as I'm pretty out there publicly and I wouldn't want any backlash for me or the company I work for, but I go to work scared shitless every day. I could probably argue to stay at home but all my employees are there and I can't make them work without suffering the same fate.

Is this SFWAF? Safe for work and family? Yikes. Probably not. ?

He's not everyone's cup of tea

Oh Mikey was filthy as *****, not as much at Pat but Peca pushed the envelope as much as he could. Those Western Canadian boys were taught well.
-
Mike Peca has his own top ten so it shouldn't be too hard

Add that to the fact that he could still be gamefully employed if he exhibited even a modicum of work ethic instead of just eating his way out of the league. Dude, you are a running back. Go for a jog or something.

Report: NHL to potentially return in North Dakota in August
inkman replied to Theana745's topic in The Aud Club
Since this discussion seems so fun, I'll chime in. The NHL, along with any other company, looks like some combination of the Grim Reaper, Ebenezer Scrooge and OSP for even thinking let alone discussing finishing their current season soley for a cash grab. Get the temperature of the room. People are dying. Chill on the let's get the band back together nonsense. And if they really are going to plan something like this, do it like I imagine, in the cover of secrecy wearing cloaks in a candlelit stone built basement sacrificing puck bunnies to please the hockey gods. Scott's not that cool. ? -
Assuming to assassinate his character. Not that he needed any assistance doing that.
-
Me thinks lack of character might have been what Whaley was assessing when bringing in other RBs.

My condolences bud.
