He’s aware. He’s mentioned it several times. I’d be surprised if he doesn’t bring in some fan favorite types to fill out the roster. High energy, physical players that this fanbase covets. It’s pretty simple, ice a team that plays hard and is exciting to watch, the fans will come back. It’s going to take time to heal the wounds but I get the feeling he knows what the fans want.

Then the Sabres have been going way out of their way with the whole “we want players that wanna be here schtick” for Reinhart and Risto? Seems unlikely. Kevyn Adams has been buttering up this fan base for the inevitable Eichel trade his the end of the season.

Dahlin has the very unfortunate circumstance of entering the league at a time where young fast dynamic Dmen are a premium. Rasmuses speed is fairly pedestrian which makes him seem rather ordinary. Really hoping Donny 🥩🏐s continues progressing Dahlin to at least make it an argument with Makar and Fox. It’s downright depressing these other guys are literally skating circles around Rasmus.

I haven’t watched a minute of playoff hockey nor did I watch a minute of regular season basketball. I have watched a ton of playoff basketball. I don’t think I’ve seen this level of talent ever in the NBA. Every team has guys 10 deep that can absolutely ball. Entertaining as hell.

I do like the idea of individual goal songs but there are so many instances where it takes a couple minutes to figure out who scored, I don’t know how feasible it is.
