As much as I loathe people using the common name for the University’s sports teams for the Steelers, I’ll allow it as the Steelers and their fans suck the largest of phalluses.

That’s all well and good but poor execution all around. First and foremost, make it obvious it’s schtick. Old codgers aren’t going to figure it out and come away with a negative feeling. Make it fun, funny or interesting. It’s was none of those.

McLeod and Zucker are professional men. They have been among our best players every game. Neither was a star or given much consideration when they were picked up. It’s refreshing to have a presence like them in the lineup and lockerrrom. If the younger guys can glean anything from them, I’ll consider the offseason a win.
