I don’t think most posters are blaming Jack for the Sabres failures. I also don’t think most posters are not not blaming him. It remains to be seen if Jack is a cause or a symptom in this mess.

Minor league depth, not terribly good at that.

Sabres sign Goalie Craig Anderson to One Year 750k Deal

Suspicious of his methods. UPL most likely needs some work before thanking the reigns in Buffalo. If Adams throws him to the wolves, it will make me question a lot of his decisions. -

If they start the season with Anderson and Dell as their goalies, I’m going to be suspicious of Adams process. UPL needs at least half a season in the A to get some valuable pro experience. -

Yep. They are giving the keys to UPL. Just like Cozens, Mitts and Dahlin. Let these young bucks run with it. They are all old enough to perform at the NHL level with Dylan still being a bit young. When did Teows hit? Looks like 19-20, same as Cozens. I’m willing to let it play out. Maybe they get a vet through trade or UFA still. -
With Gabe Davis, Jake Kumerow, Isiah McKenzie, Isiah Hodgins and Marquez Stevenson as their 4-8 receivers, I feel confident these guys will step up when needed. Davis may be as talented as any of the top 3 in Buffalo.

Sabres Identity: Hardworking, Relentless with Speed.

I agree but he’d finish closer to last than first. -

Nor sure why the number of games matters. He spent all of last season on the taxi squad. He’s been around them. In training camps, practices, he knows the dude. He may actually be the perfect guy to comment on it. Not with the team anymore. Nothing to prove as he’s clearly a minor leaguer at this point.

Hineystroka, Butcher and Pysyk all offer speed. I can’t think of any slow players on the team not named Okposo. Everyone else can get on their horse. -

Only thing I’ve heard was this. Doesn’t exactly sound like what your describing.

That was not the lead on the story

Losing but putting up a fight, might just get you Shayne Wright. Still a WIP. -

It was the worst brand of hockey I’ve ever watched. Ralph was stuck in 80s-90s playing style. -

Can you wait until the games start? 😀 -

Yes. I didn’t need it mansplained to me. Also, almost every center can play wing. He is here to punch people in the face. Not play actual hockey. Unfortunately.

I’d be pleasantly surprised if Hayden laced em up for the Amerks. He hasn’t played in the minors since 2017.

That deal sounds better than anything other teams fans propose.

Sadly he’s the closest thing we’ve had since. He certainly won’t yard sale someone at center ice like Mike did. Could be a leader though. There is a giant hole there (has been since Ryan Miller left).
