One could argue whether or not the Sabres are orchestrating a tank but I don’t think there is much argument that they aren’t going to be that good next season, giving them a beeline for a top pick.

Well the NFL differs from the NHL where really good players can be had at the end of the 1st round. Tre White, Brandon Aiyuk, Josh Jacobs, Greg Rousseau ?, Lamar Jackson, Calvin Ridley. The list goes on. I’d have to think long and hard about passing up an opportunity to draft another one of those guys for a guy you never want to see the field.

Should be noted that Johnson was easily one of the worst 1st overall picks in the last 20 years.

Didn’t he specifically mention being on a bike days after ankle surgery as “being ***** up”, then 3/4 of the universe states that is typical rehab for that type of surgery. Sounds like sour grapes to me.
