I’d temper your enthusiasm. All the talk of Kodak’s scoring ability is being greatly exaggerated. He scored his 5 goals this season all in the first 7 games. Only one assist. He may be better than his 2-3 goal output his first two seasons but I’d be shocked if he scored 10 goals in his NHL career. Just not a lot of talent. Works his butt off but sometimes that’s just not enough. The Sabres need Wahlberg to adopt some of those habits. He has the talent to be an excellent scoring 3rd line wing.

Let me rephrase my question. Maybe more of a statement. I want to binge drink and smoke snoop dog levels of weed whilst consuming the Buffalo NHL product, as is my tradition. For the second time is nearly in a month, the NHL has scheduled a day game on days where people traditionally do *****. Today I spent 4 hours hanging Christmas lights. I have a 10 year old and a wife that can’t tie her own shoes. I need to be half conscious while they are milling about before night fall in case someone farts in this house and doesn’t know how to handle it. So the NHL scheduling games at 3pm is a problem for me. I can’t ***** stand it. 20-30 something inky loved him some afternoon hockey. Be blackout drunk at 6 pm sign me up. Unfortunately, that’s not the case anymore so these day games ***** me up.

It took me several visits to this thread to understand this. I too would like greater clarity in the GDT title as to where the game is being played. I shouldn’t have to decipher what the OP intended with their subtle language. Just lay it out plain and simple for us simple folk.

I have a hard time thinking GM Little League World Series is gonna gut the team of its current leadership and send those guys to an in conference “rival”. Weirder things have happened and he just might be arrogant enough (he is) to think he can pull the wool over Adams sheepy little eyes and fleece him but he’s dealing from such a position of weakness, that it would take a trade blunder of generational levels for Kevyn to screw it up.

The Sabres could use both vets. It will never happen but I’d trade Noah Östlund and Ryan Johnson level prospects for them. Size, toughness, play the game the right way, yada yada. We’ve already seen what infusing grown professional men in Zucker and McLeod into the lineup can do.

This is some high level jinxing. Buffalo teams don’t need anyone’s help setting them up to fail. They do a great job on their own.
