Well this is less than ideal

It’s why Jeff continues to be an enigma. He just doesn’t play within a system. Feel like Meatballs system (or lack there of) will benefit him. We’ve seen some good results. Putting him with guys who create and expect their teammates to do what they might do in any given situation isn’t going to work. It’s why he was playing with scrubs in Carolina and why Ralph hated him. Jeff is an NHL player but it’s challenging to put him in a position to succeed without being a detriment to the team. I think Granato figured it out when his team is healthy.

As we saw with Jack and Evander, not all players mesh well on the ice no matter the skill level. Tage could use a great passer and a mucker on his wings. Are those players on the roster? Idk, Asplund is enoug of a mucker and a good enough passer to work effectively with Tage. Olofsson wasn’t bad in that spot.

If he was 6’4” 230 lbs, it’s a different conversation.

I don’t really like any of the selections. Too much nuance as to what his career may become. As @The Ghost of Yuri indicated, the better question is what will he become. A 1 C, 2 C, 3 C, top six winger. Just too much unknown at this point. I am excited that Donnie is giving him full exposure at the C position. Let him spread his wings and see what happens.

Only select Amerks games are on TV in Rochester. Usually 5-6 games a season. I haven’t heard about any for this season yet. AHLTV is strictly pay per view or a season type package. I forked over the $70 for this Amerks season (that’s roughly equal to one trip to the BCA for me for one game for a ticket, concessions etc).
