  1. Hope it stays this way. I doubt it.
  2. Does every team bring their worst game to play KC?
  3. First and foremost, being married to an Italian, Chinese food has noodles. Italian dishes have pasta. I’m praying (ok I’m atheist) but you get my gist, physicality can be shot into the sun. I can only picture Bill Cowher’s old stiff mug saying dumb words like physicality.
  4. Here is the first time it was used in this forum. I feel like it’s a coaching term that fans / media adopted to sound smart.
  5. Ok. Someone needs to explain when the term “line rushes” became popular to describe lines in the NHL. Definitely since after I joined the board. (Yes that’s almost 20 years ago) At some point everyone started using it. The internets aren’t much help. We weren’t calling line “rushes” in the 90’ or even early 2000’s. Then one day I hear / read Paul Hamilton dropping the term like everyone has just been using it.
  6. I’m not usually complain about refs guy but Shawn Hochuli has it in for the Bills. Every time he calls their games, the Bills are always the more penalized team. I look for a flag after any positive Buffalo play.
  7. My biggest problem is now they’ll forever be associated with “the Diggs game”. Blech.
  8. The only thing Norris has to do to be better than Cozens is play. He’s a bonafide top 6 NHL talent. Dylan is a net negative. He made everyone worse that he played with. Quinn is a big question mark. I was his biggest supporter at one point but his transition to the NHL has been poor.
  9. The doom and gloom in this thread is Sabres worthy. The Bills, as always, got NE best shot. That’s an extremely flawed team that played in their Super Bowl last night. Much like the Ravens opening night. These team gets super hyped and juiced for “the best team in the league” and put forth maximum effort. Just like the Ravens, this Pats team will regress to their level. I’m not worried at all.
  10. The level of respect this franchise deserves. The charts can’t smell this org rotting from its core.
  11. You know what they say, you don’t play the games on paper…er…in the charts…er…electronically?
  12. I’d rather have a team that tries it than a team that can’t possibly fathom it
  13. I actually don’t care about any players injuries in the team outside of Tage and Rasmus. Almost everyone of the lot can be replaced by someone else on the roster or in the AHL.
  14. Well the hostility stems from a 6’6” first overall pick A) Not exactly living up to the hype B) He doesn’t touch anyone on the ice. That ***** is going to incite a fanbase to froth at the mouth. He may be Hall of Famer but he’s not anything close to what the Sabres need right now. Dahlin is about as close as you’d want. I’d ensure I’d populate the rest of the D with nast snarl mean as fook aholes. Employing a less skilled, less physical Dahlin isn’t really helping the cause at all. Move him out for types of players we actually need.
  15. Is there any evidence that the Sabres are more injured than any other NHL team?
  16. It boggles my mind how some people want to keep him forever with aspirations of him being elite. He might be. He’s also never going to be accepted by the fanbase as a whole because he plays no contact hockey. His value may never be higher. Move him out now for proven NHL talent that actually plays hockey the way it was intended. With any amount of physical contact at all.
  17. Is mispronouncing a person’s name grammar related or just ignorance? I’ve never thought of Paul as a gotta break the story first kinda guy. More of a I don’t really bring anything new or insightful to the table I’m just going to complain a lot and sound like Andy Rooney kinda guy.
  18. The Colts are a dumpster fire?
  19. Let me put it another way. How many 5’9” defenseman do we want? Metsa may be a better player and better leader (idk) but at the end of the day NHL defenseman are rarely that size without an elite offensive talent. Like they wouldn’t even sniff the AHL because they’d score 2+ PPG. It’s why the Bryson signing was so maddening. Having more than one mighty mite in the org essentially dooms one of them into permanent AHL status. Just a moronic signing the second the ink dried.
  20. Here is a one point lesson https://www.instagram.com/reel/DPEn0GoAW6y/?igsh=aHRncWZreXIxdXgx
  21. Aren’t Metsa and Bryson essentially the same player?
  22. Sabres need more of this:
  23. There can be only one!!
