  1. Why? Be the change you seek
  2. I haven’t seen it but I’ll take your word
  3. Unless we have players that are in almost identical situations. See Dylan Cozens. If he’s the centerpiece of the deal, make it happen. He clearly is either in his own head and may never figure it out here or he got his brain so scrambled in that fight or is such a ***** that one fight has turned him into Derek Roy. It’s ***** bizarre that the leagues own network has analysts using internet rumors for content. Like is that really all you have to talk about?
  4. I think it’s worth noting Metsa is 5’9”
  5. The gov’t is forcing Doug Allen to sing the Anthem at the Sabres game? A cruel and unusual form of punishment.
  6. Yeah but I’ll take a much better soft guy (your words not mine) over the mediocre ones we have now
  7. I know I’ve been spouting off about how this isn’t real and not happening. If there is any truth to the Sabres being involved in talks, Kevyn needs to get this done. Cozens, Byram, Power, Quinn, Rosen, who cares, get the deal done. Ain’t playing until Friday Kevyn, ***** do it.
  8. You are a little too smart to be uttering this so I’ll assume you did it with tongue firmly pressed in cheek. The expression nip it in the bud means to put a quick end to something. This phrase comes from the garden but has branched out. When a leaf or flower is beginning to form, it's just a little bud, and if you nip it — cut it — then it won't grow. You nip it in the bud.
  9. It’s almost what they need
  10. I’ve been told by many folks instances like this are called “show casing” your players. Hockey GMs don’t make trades based on informed opinions of hockey scouts who watch thousands of hours of hockey from every player, they make trades solely based on their last game performance. On a related note, there is a trade rumor involving Tage & JJ and a certain couple of Edmonton Oilers. More at 11. E5.
  11. Some of us are using our Stanley Cup contending Sabres to vacate our minds of football.
  12. Sounds like a guy (Rutherford) who’d rather trade Miller.
  13. It’s the same people with the same motivation. Clicks. They don’t care if it’s true.
  14. We are heading down a slippery slope here. So let’s just say that the 5% is the actual number of trades that come to fruition from “rumors”. Wouldn’t it behoove these twitter heads to just make up whatever they want just for clicks? Especially with activity famished fanbases like the Sabres. Just mention their favorite players (or least) in some “rumors” and you got clicks. To hell with reporting on actual real life events. It’s all a sham. Imagine that. No one is fact checking the rumors because only 5% are coming true. Just say whatever you want. Fans will eat it up. We are full speed ahead on Idiocracy.
  15. I honestly don’t think any of the “rumors” are credible. I think media and fans have thrown so much ***** against the wall, something was bound to stick. As I have said ad nauseam, fan speculation is not rumor. Yet here we are again with what seems like just fans and media hypothesizing whatever is the garbage of the day and voila, a rumor is born. Not based on anything other than internet dickheads just blabbing at the mouth…er…fingertips.
  16. Because he’s European
  17. Another season in the A for sure
  18. Idk they just hired Doug Moron https://www.patspulpit.com/2025/1/27/24352914/patriots-reportedly-add-veteran-nfl-coach-doug-marrone-staff-thomas-brown
  19. Probably similar to the guy he’s replacing, Kozak.
  20. Oh you think adding a HOF captain for their defense could change things?
