pfft....I mentioned Freddie alone...not a whole gang.
-
I meant goals/assists....ok 16/25
-
Freddie makes a perfect no. 2 back at this stage of his career. He is still a very effective RB with natural skills to pick up first downs. Marcus allen played very effectively thru age 36 as he changed from a breakway guy to a short yardage specialist. If the Bills release Freddie they are not only scum but stupid scum.--Not to cast any aspersions.

too bad spiller was tragically misused the past 2 seasons. best open field runner in the league and we plow him into the line. Shame.
-
I actually like ennis....hes a sparky 3rd line guy with good speed. I just don't see him within a mile of briere. Just doesn't have the skills. If he can give us 20/25 on line 3 then we are in good shape.

sad thing is that chances are none of the bottom 3 will get McDavid. the system makes no sense.

what if some young player in there for the sabres tries to be a hero and takes a slapshot with a few seconds left to tie the game and ruin the tank??(in the heat of action some pro sports players----GB TE-----do some awfully dumb things) or even what if there are a few minutes left and the sabes are leading....strict 'don't shoot' orders from ted?? lets hope it doesn't come down to this....-could get weird.

Last game of the season. Sabres need a win to clinch McEichel. ...And they are either 1) playing against a team that needs the win or tie.OR--2) they are tied with the some other team in the 3rd.Time running out. Would /could the league take action against the sabres if they accidentally put one in their own net?

they can coach him after the season
-
oh he'll only be 27 this season...I though he was older. this trade was about even. I was concerned that kiko was looking a bit small in 2013 even though he was a playmaker 1st half. Freddie is too old to carry the load and those other guys we got are journeymen. maybe we should keep cj though. His market value just went down.

seems like we have gotten better since we traded away our best players.

right on--buffalo is better off struggling with a real prospect(not EJ) vs being the predictable 8-8 or 9-7 with a horribly frustrating journeyman. and don't anyone mention Jay looksandactsandperformslikehesonheavydrugs Cutler. I would give it 4-5 weeks before that turned into a disaster.

if we get the 2nd pick there is no moving up. no one is giving up McDavid. If we get the 3rd pick.....there is a microscopic chance of someone giving up eichel.

anyhow, them oilers and esp zona are really playing for keeps now. this could get uglier and embarrassing.... its been 8 yrs since the sabres have been this interesting.
