The Sabres should have put it in the air that any NHL coach with demonstrable success in the league who is up for a contract renewal should talk to the Sabres before signing anything because it could mean double the money of what they'd get anywhere else. That is how they get the attention of someone like Rod Brind'Amour.

Yeah, so I tried that with Google Gemini, here is the result: Prompt: Can you scan the top 20 posts in this forum and come up with a recommendation of what the Buffalo Sabres should do in the off season based on the comments of the posters? https://www.sabrespace.com/community/forum/1-the-aud-club/ Response: Unfortunately, I couldn't get insights directly from the forum because the content is not relevant to the query. But based on my search, here's what some hockey news articles say about the Buffalo Sabres offseason plans: The Sabres are expected to have a big offseason with significant cap space to improve the roster. Some potential targets include free agents like Jake Guentzel, Sam Reinhart, Elias Lindholm and top defensemen like Brett Pesce. There's also a focus on re-signing some of their own players like Kyle Okposo and Zemgus Girgensons who add leadership and defensive presence. Overall, it seems like the Buffalo Sabres are looking to take a step forward next season and are actively looking to improve the team through free agency and potentially trades.

I've been proposing it for at least the last third of the season.

Think of the return someone like this alone would get. Add in a "top prospect" and we could totally retool this team to be a contender.

You can tell Meatballs is a dimwit because instead of at least coming up with something short on the spot to address officially being out of the playoffs he just closed off questions about it. So tone deaf and egotistical. He is literally as bad as or worse of a mind than Krueger. Holy s#$t. Hamsammich is touting the same narrative as Meatballs! -

Why should Granato and the assistants be brought back?

That was one f$%&ing game out of how many? It's not even a blip on the radar. We don't need a learn-as-you-go coach who is severally handicapped on the uptake. -

There's a difference between being a playoff team and a team that could/will make the playoffs. The bar is so low, even in and out of the first round would be a success. -
Only 5'11". I'm tired of drafting the wee folk. Although, at 181lbs he might be more muscle than napoleonbakelse. Here's more: https://thewincolumn.ca/2024/04/09/konsta-helenius-2024-nhl-draft-profile/

Will Buffalo be a good place to see the total eclipse of the sun?

Turned out the clouds let us experience it very well where I am at. The coolest part was at the tail end when the light returned, sweeping through like a curtain was being pulled open. -

Would you trade expected fall roster for an expansion roster?

Only if each member of the expansion team roster is competent with a smoker and can consistently remember to put the seat down. -
I was never a fan. Such a drama queen publickly, can't imagine what kind of maintenance he required internally. That's one less distraction contributing to Allen's thousand-mile stare.
